Tragically, his wife's sudden death, shortly after the birth of their son, shattered the newfound stability in his life, causing him to regress into his former cold and detached self. As a non-sorcerer amidst the sorcerer-dominated world, he harbored deep-seated resentment towards the jujutsu community, manifesting in his antagonistic actions. Toji's evil deeds stemmed from a sense of rejection and bitterness, as he sought to defy and spite the system that had brought him suffering. Despite attempts at a new life, he eventually remarried but ultimately abandoned both his son, Megumi, and step-daughter, Tsumiki Fushiguro, leaving them to navigate their paths alone while he pursued his own.
