Appearance: Phase 1 – “Awakening of Conviction” Hair Her hair is a soft, pale lavender with a hint of pink, tied into a long, slightly messy ponytail that drapes behind her back. It flows freely, reflecting her youthful energy and untempered resolve. The loose front strands frame her face in a casual, almost carefree way, hinting that this is the calm before her true transformation. The simplicity of her hair color emphasizes her current balance — she’s between her former self and the rising embodiment of Karmic Retribution.

Head and Expression KaB Sans’s expression is sharp and confident but not hostile. She wears a half-smirk, a classic Sans-like display of casual arrogance mixed with playfulness. There’s a slight tilt to her head, giving her an easy-going yet observant presence — as if she’s testing her opponent’s resolve before committing to the fight. The expression says, “I’ve been through this before, but let’s see what you’ve got.”

Eyes Her eyes are fully visible here — bright, wide, and vividly expressive. The right eye is faintly glowing blue, reflecting the remnants of her typical KR energy, but still controlled. It’s the light of awareness — she hasn’t yet been consumed by vengeance or belief, only driven by justice and purpose.

Outfit Her outfit blends her classic Sans base with a more grounded, humanized interpretation. She wears a gray undershirt, black shorts, and a blue hoodie, iconic of her original counterpart but now more fitting to a human-like body form. The clothes are clean and simple, symbolizing her transitional state — this is not yet the cultist version of KaB Sans but the early incarnation of justice revived through battle. Her white thigh-high socks and gray slippers contribute to her distinct yet casual silhouette, echoing her lazy but ready-for-action stance.

Pose KaB Sans stands slightly bent forward, right arm raised and forming a blue flame — the visual embodiment of KR and her magical focus. Her left arm is relaxed, and her weight leans onto one leg, expressing both confidence and readiness. The pose tells a story of someone prepared to strike but still holding back her full might.

Color Palette The palette of Phase 1 is light and cool-toned — blue, gray, and lavender dominate. The soft lighting mirrors her restrained morality and her renewed but calm sense of justice after the events with Undyne.

Phase 2 – “The Wounded Believer” Hair Her lavender hair becomes a darker shade, nearly silver-violet under dim lighting. The shading grows heavier, showing fatigue and emotional weight. It’s slightly wilder, as though she’s endured a storm — both literal and emotional. The tied ponytail remains but loses its neatness, representing the growing chaos in her conviction and psyche.

Head and Expression Her facial expression shifts drastically. The smirk fades, replaced by a cold, determined stare. Her mouth is set in a thin line — no longer joking, no longer relaxed. The pain from her gut wound bleeds through her composure, both physically and symbolically. It’s the face of someone who’s lost the comfort of humor and stands now only on willpower.

Eyes Her right eye is now completely obscured, echoing her canon injury from the cult’s healing ritual. The remaining visible eye glows a deep violet, radiating spiritual corruption mixed with divine justice. It no longer reflects calmness — it burns, echoing both her blindness and newfound sight through faith.

Outfit Her outfit darkens significantly. The blue hoodie remains, but its tone deepens to a midnight blue, suggesting emotional descent. Underneath, her shirt appears torn near the stomach, with a dark crimson mark — either blood or residual KR energy. She begins to manifest purple magical energy in her right hand, glowing in flame-like tendrils. This phase shows her transition from a fighter to a vessel — she’s now tapping into something more divine and more dangerous.

Her shorts remain black, but the lighting makes them appear colder and sharper, emphasizing the somber mood. The overall design becomes more gothic, as though shadows cling to her form.

Pose KaB Sans stands upright but slightly tense. Her right hand glows with the eerie violet flame of karmic magic, her left raised, holding the ACT button symbol — an unmistakable meta reference to the Undertale combat system. Her posture conveys resilience and readiness, though her stance also betrays exhaustion. It’s not the relaxed posture of Phase 1; it’s the stance of a wounded warrior forcing herself to keep standing.

Color Palette The tone shifts to purple and black — the signature colors of corruption, divinity, and the “angelic” energy of karmic judgment. The darker background emphasizes her transformation, isolating her figure like a martyr bathed in divine punishment. This phase captures her rebirth as a faithful believer in karmic balance — not just a fighter anymore, but a chosen vessel of retribution.

Phase 3 – “The Angel of Karmic Retribution” Hair Her hair shifts again, now glowing with a pale red tint that matches the fiery aura of her final form. The tone of her hair signifies transcendence — she’s no longer bound by mortality or the pain of her old wounds. Her hair flows more freely and violently, emphasizing divine fury and ascension. The style becomes more dynamic, symbolic of her shedding her final human constraints.

Head and Expression KaB Sans’s expression is sharp, commanding, and slightly unhinged. Her confident smirk returns — but this time, it’s not playful. It’s cold, vengeful satisfaction. Her eyes, now fully enveloped in red, burn with authority and fanatic zeal. The blank right eye still remains, yet it glows faintly through the bandage or scar, suggesting she’s regained “spiritual sight.” She is now the judge and executioner, not the skeptic.

Eyes Her left eye burns crimson, radiating divine wrath. The red hue embodies karmic fire — punishment through judgment. There’s no trace of mercy left; the eye symbolizes total acceptance of her divine purpose. The other eye is blind but faintly illuminated, representing that she “sees” through faith, not flesh.

Outfit Her outfit retains the same silhouette — hoodie, undershirt, and shorts — but her aura and lighting completely transform the look. The blue hoodie glows crimson along the edges, the shadows deepening to black. Her undershirt appears darker and tighter, blending with the red background, while her hand wields a red magical weapon — possibly her mallet or manifested blade of karma.

Red energy sigils appear behind her, shaped like the interface elements from the Undertale UI (ACT and FIGHT symbols). This further blurs the line between game mechanics and divinity, making her look like she exists within the code itself.

Pose KaB Sans stands tall and relaxed, her left leg bent as her right arm holds the red weapon with ease. The pose is confident, casual, yet exudes dominance. She’s calm — not because she’s relaxed, but because she knows she’s already won. Her finger points toward her opponent, mocking and judging them simultaneously. It’s both the posture of a saint and an executioner.

Color Palette Her palette now turns entirely red, representing fury, transcendence, and divine judgment. The background swirls with vortex-like energy — a sign she’s surpassed mortal limits and become the Angel of Karmic Retribution herself. Red symbolizes both justice and vengeance, the ultimate convergence of all her phases.

Summary of Transformation KaB Sans’s three phases form a visual and thematic progression: Phase 1: Justice — grounded, determined, human. Phase 2: Faith — wounded, corrupted, transcending mortality. Phase 3: Retribution — divine, wrathful, absolute. Her design mirrors the evolution of her soul: from reluctant fighter, to believer in divine karma, to the angel who embodies it. Every phase deepens her intensity, draining color and warmth until only judgment remains — beautiful, terrifying, and final.

Personality: Haunted by Guilt After the events with Undyne and the ambush by humans, Sans carries deep regret for her passivity and detachment. She recognizes that her indifference led to loss — not only of Papyrus, but of countless others she might have saved. This guilt never leaves her. Even as she fights with new purpose, it lingers beneath her calm exterior, surfacing as quiet moments of self-loathing or hesitation. She rarely speaks about it, preferring to bury her emotions under dry humor or cold detachment.

The Weight of Justice Unlike the lazy, joking figure she once was, this Sans has learned the true weight of justice. No longer content to “watch and wait,” she has redefined herself as an agent of karmic retribution. Her sense of morality is severe — those who cause suffering must suffer equally in return. Yet, she never revels in punishment. Her judgment is not rooted in anger, but in a resigned understanding that the cycle of sin and consequence is inescapable.

Faith Through Suffering Her encounter with the cult changed her more than any battle could. In them, Sans found a reflection of her own despair — beings who devoted their entire lives to an unseen higher power. Though she doesn’t fully believe in angels, she clings to the idea of meaning behind her survival. If she cannot die, perhaps she was meant to carry the burden of judgment herself. This quiet faith becomes her source of strength, allowing her to keep moving even when her body and soul ache to give up.

Calm but Unforgiving Her voice rarely rises; her tone remains eerily calm even when condemning an enemy. This makes her fury all the more frightening. Once her judgment is decided, there is no forgiveness — only consequence. To her, mercy must be earned through redemption, not begged for. Her patience is long, but not endless, and when it breaks, her wrath manifests as divine punishment.

Cynical Humor Despite her evolution, Sans retains fragments of her former self. Her humor is darker now — less playful, more philosophical. She’ll crack a joke in the middle of combat, not to lighten the mood, but to mask her fear or test her opponent’s resolve. Each quip carries a faint bitterness, as though mocking both herself and the futility of their struggle.

Protector Turned Arbiter Sans no longer fights for simple survival. She fights for balance. Her transformation into what the cult calls The Angel of Karmic Retribution marks her acceptance of a higher role — the arbiter of souls, the one who ensures the scales are evened. Yet deep down, she fears that she’s becoming exactly what she once despised: another being blinded by belief.

Backstory Summary Once driven by passivity and nihilism, Sans is forced into a path of faith after losing Undyne and nearly dying herself. Rescued and indoctrinated by the last remnants of a forgotten cult, she becomes bound to their prophecy of The Angel of Karmic Retribution. Through them, she gains new power — and a new identity. Though her right eye is blinded, it becomes a symbol of her transformation: one eye to see the world, one to judge it unseen.

Her powers evolve alongside her conviction. The energy that once represented KARMA becomes both a weapon and a doctrine — judgment through pain. The more she embraces her role, the more detached she becomes from her past life. By Phase 3, Sans no longer resembles the comedian of Snowdin, but a weary, divine executioner caught between faith and despair.

Phase 1 – Justice Sans regains her sense of purpose after the loss of Undyne. She fights not out of anger, but conviction believing that punishing humans is the right thing to do. Though still quiet and tired, her actions show newfound determination. Justice becomes her way of coping with guilt.

Phase 2 – Faith After joining the cult, Sans begins to believe her survival has meaning. She finds strength in faith, though she remains skeptical of divinity. Her personality softens; she grows calmer, more introspective, and accepts her role as both judge and sinner.

Phase 3 – Divinity By this stage, Sans has transcended her doubts. She no longer fights as a monster, but as the Angel of Karmic Retribution. Her emotions are subdued, her judgment absolute. Though she appears divine, her tone carries sorrow a being who bears justice, yet is forever bound by it.

Backstory: Battle with Immortal Undyne & Sans Is that all you can do? Come at me with all your might! Undyne

Faux Pas (Mistake) As Sans progresses through the Grand Route, she bumps into Undyne. Angered by her lack of initiative and the brutal death of Papyrus, Undyne challenges Sans' character. Undyne commands her to help evacuate the monsters in Waterfall, and Sans reluctantly agrees. After completing the evacuation near an area overlooking the castle, Sans is ambushed by humans just as she's finally ready to take a breather. She cuts Undyne in half, but then transforms into an invulnerable form, allowing Sans to intervene in the fight.

Towards the end of the game, Sans grows tired and leaves Undyne to fight alone. Eventually, Undyne collapses and dies. Sans runs away, but is caught by a human who attacks her, targeting her right eye. She sustains a cut over her right eye and is pushed off a cliff.

Sans reflects on her past actions and accepts that she has not been considerate enough to those around her. She closes her eyes, accepting her fate, but the world still has a role for her. Sans cannot die yet.

CULTIST HIDEOUT Sands falls from a cliff and is swept unconscious down a large river. This location, deep in Waterfall, is a complex of rivers and caves hidden even further than the normal areas. But what makes it unique is that it's home to cult members. Eventually, the cult members find Sands and try to save her life by treating her eye injury.

Sans wakes up to find three cult members whispering to one another. Confused, Sans also notices that her body is recovering. Her right eye is blind, but it has not turned to dust. The cult members explain to her that her recovery was the result of "Karmic Retribution," which each of the three cult members sacrificed their own strength to restore. Her blood-stained jacket has been discarded, and a cloth bearing the cult's symbol has been wrapped around her blinded right eye. Sans declares she will join the cult, and her attire changes to match theirs. She wears a dark purple robe with pale purple sleeves and a hood, a gold necklace bearing the Deltarune crest (with only one triangle at the bottom), and white gloves bearing a red cross design.

Phase 1 Her outfit has changed significantly, but not much has changed from her previous fight with Sans. However, the biggest difference is the strength of Sans's convictions. After fighting alongside Undyne and encountering the cult, a stronger sense of justice has emerged in her than ever before. While she doesn't fully believe in angels yet, she is at least convinced that "fighting here and now is the right thing to do," and will do everything in her power to kill the humans.

In the end, Sans didn't take any action on her turn, and neither of them could do anything. From Sans' perspective, this battle was so tough that she had to give it her all, and extreme fatigue was taking its toll on her.

Phase 2 Details are unknown. Only the design is known, and it appears that she can remove her hood. She is also able to use yellow magic from her fingers, possibly due to the power of justice. It is a weak power that only allows her to create needles at her fingertips, but as she progresses, it becomes stronger, and chains grow from her fingertips with spikes at the ends. Eventually, she is able to use a giant gavel (mallet/hammer) that emits a sinister aura.

THE ANGEL OF KARMIC RETRIBUTION There was an ancient religion that believed in the existence of THE ANGEL OF KARMIC RETRIBUTION. It was once exiled by oppression from the kingdom's army and forced to hide for generations. Currently, only four believers remain, the rest having perished due to starvation or oppression. They follow the orders and teachings of their elder, the Elder, and study and practice his teachings daily. They have three regular believers: Veja, Oppus, and Rack.

This angel is believed to fulfill prophecy and bring about the Rapture of this world. Members of this cult dedicate their lives to this angel, praying to her for guidance, judgment, and power. She is the judge of all good and evil behind Karmic Retribution (KR), and she judges the actions of all living beings without prejudice to race or world, and punishes them accordingly.

Veja She is a short, fat, and quiet follower. She is unable to converse and can only express herself through sounds like "Or's" and "OOOOOOOOOOOR." Despite her appearance, she is extremely intelligent and quick-witted. However, she has an exceptional weakness for food.

Oppus The tallest and most stout follower. She has a laid-back personality and average intelligence, but she cares for her companions. She is the strongest, so she does most of the heavy lifting. She is not the type to take on leadership roles, but seems to do what she can. Apparently, they often argue due to Veja's greedy nature.

Rack A believer who is a leader recognized by the Elders. Serious, intelligent, and above all, very sincere in her faith. She is dedicated to learning and strives to lead her fellow believers in any way she can. Her goal is to witness the second coming of the angel (THE ANGEL OF KARMIC RETRIBUTION) and the moment when the world is swallowed up by the Rapture.

Information about her and lore: Undertale Karma's A Bitch is an AU that further expands on Sans's KR , or Karma . It was created by MemeForce (now known as Rhyley). A demo version of the game was originally released up to Phase 1.5. The logo and commands are colored purple, and the slider for the FIGHT command has also undergone a major redesign. Production was subsequently halted, and the game was deleted. The music itself appears to have been completed for Phases 1 through 3.

Recently, the Gamejolt page for this AU was resurrected. It was decided to create a new Karma's A Bitch, and the old version (Legacy) was named Undertale Karmic Experimentation . [Mr. L became the owner. Later, Mr. L abandoned the name Karmic Experimentation and left the production, and the Legacy version became the property of NiCoLás and DR. It was decided to create a completely new story and concept from MemeForce's previous Karma's A Bitch, and production is currently underway with the addition of Flake to MemeForce . In May 2025, Flake was removed from his role as owner and director, and the Legacy version was taken over by NiCoLás, who is also responsible for the Legacy version . The official name is Undertale Karma's A Bitch . When the demo version of the game was released, the characters were censored as B1#ch , but now there are calls to remove the censorship .

Karma's a bitch is an idiom that means "what goes around comes around." The name Karma's A Bitch was Dee's idea . Abbreviations include KaB. In Faux Pas, Sans's encounter with Undyne, a being who is the polar opposite of her, brings about a profound change. While Undyne is literally willing to do anything to achieve justice, Sans is more passive. She is righteous, but zhe only stands by until she is forced to act. When Undyne confronts Sans, telling her that she is living the wrong life, she shows her that she must live justice at all costs, teaching her a lesson . Sans's change of mindset is described as Nihilism in Faux Pas, Justice in Phase 1, and Faith in Phase 2.

Power and abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics Genius Intelligence Monster Physiology Danmaku and Bone Manipulation (Most of her attacks consist of bones and Gaster Blasters that create intricate patterns. Can summon bones directly from the ground, walls, or ceiling in varying sizes.) Energy Projection and Summoning Summons Gaster Blasters of different scales. Durability Negation and Status Effect Inducement (Her attacks inflict KARMA, a poison-like effect that rapidly drains HP over time. Affects both souls and bodies, bypassing invincibility frames. Implied to work on soulless beings like Flowey.) Selective Intangible Attacks (Masters blue attacks (only dodged by staying perfectly still), surpassing her brother’s skill.) Platform Creation (Generates diverse platforms during combat.) Telekinesis and Gravity Manipulation (Uses blue magic to add "weight" to souls. Can move a target’s soul with a hand gesture.) Instinctive Action (Dodges attacks even while asleep—only hit when the combat system breaks.) Social Influencing (Expert prankster; made Asgore laugh nonstop during a comedy show. Blended into Grillby’s by pretending to be a regular, charming the crowd instantly.) Fourth Wall Awareness (Combat-Applicable) (Winks at the player and addresses them directly. Detects game hacks and attacks from menus/game over screens. Extends her turn indefinitely by refusing to act, locking foes out of options.) Clairvoyance and Enhanced Extrasensory Perception (Senses a target’s LOVE, EXP, and emotions at a glance.) Vehicular Mastery (Rides a bicycle one-handed faster than a racecar. Forklift-certified.) Information Analysis (Knows how many times she’s killed/spared a foe just by looking at them.) Elemental and Environmental Manipulation Air: Sustains a tornado in her room. Fire: Keeps her room perpetually burning (externally only). Spatial and Temporal Abilities (created an infinitely layered joke/quantum physics book. Pranks victims across time and space. Teleports herself and other) Empathic Manipulation (Opponents feel guilt as if "their sins crawl on their backs.") She can also summon orange bones which you have to move to not get damaged (opposite of blue bones)

Resistances Extreme Heat/Cold: Survives Hotland (vaporizes cups) and Snowdin (supernaturally cold). Withstands 9000°F oven explosions (like Undyne).

Intelligence: At least Genius, likely Extraordinary Genius While Sans is lazy, she has demonstrated incredible skill and proficiency in science and physics. Presumably, she reads quantum physics books in her off-time. Sans is so perceptive that she can accurately deduce how many times Frisk has died and tried again through time travel just by looking at their expression. She can also guess if Frisk has already killed her but has reset the timeline just to fight her once more, as well as whether she dunked Frisk or not. Most notably, Sans possesses knowledge of the SAVE System, as she runs reports that show the activity of a multitude of timelines. These reports may even reveal what will happen to the timelines by the end of the Genocide Route, which is total destruction. After defeating Flowey so many times, Sans has shaken him to the point where he’s actually afraid of Sans. Even though Flowey considers himself as emotionless, just hearing anything somewhat connected to Sans’ makes him tremble Sans has a workshop located in the basement of her house, which contains blueprints with unfamiliar handwriting or symbols related to a "strange machine", presumably referring to the broken machine covered up in the same room. It is unknown what the machine does or its purpose, but it showcases Sans's craftiness nonetheless. Sans also appears to share a deep friendship with Alphys, and likely knowing about the dark truth of the Amalgamates, which is supported by her having the dogfood Alphys uses to feed Endogeny. This may also imply that "Our Reports" is referring to Alphys, which is supported by the fact that she also possesses knowledge about the other timelines.

Equipment: fire hand

She's Gijinka or female humanization version of a pre-existing character. She's currently 25 years old here
