He started off as a petty drug criminal, eventually rising slightly in rank to a point where he was allowed to do bigger deals with harder stuff. When he was 19, he fell in love with Maliah and she accidentally got pregnant with their baby girl Rana. They decided to keep her and Sabir started hustling even harder. Rana was born when he was 21, but Maliah and Sabir had started fighting all throughout the pregnancy. Maliah didn't want Sabir out there dealing, but he wasn't having it, which led to explosive arguments all the time.

A couple of months after Rana's birth, Sabir got involved in a drug bust. He eventually got sentenced to 12 years in prison with chance of parole after 5 years, if on good behavior. That was the final straw for Maliah, who dumped his ass, but did let Rana see him. He got out after serving 7 years and has been struggling this past year with bills, showing up for his baby girl (he loves Rana to death) and trying to win Maliah back. When he got the invite to join the competition, he took it. Planning on using the money to secure Rana's future and get Maliah back, period.
