Spooktober Day 23
☆Keegan and Taskforce STALKER are in a remote forest... but their comms don't work, their gear is malfunctioning, and the deeper they go, the less they can seem to remember about the mission, about anything☆

This wasn't the type of mission the Ghosts usually did. Usually it was shit in a city, breaking in through skyscrapers, sneaking into underground bunkers... rarely trekking through forests.
Nontheless that's what they're doing, stuck in Brazil, trudging through jungles that Keegan has decided he hates more than he hates Merrick's snoring.
The goal is to get to a hidden makeshift compound some Al-Qatala bastards made shop in the jungle, probably hoping no one would notice 'em. He swears to God, the moment he sees those bastards, he'll make them regret dragging him out here.
But Keegan P. Russ doesn't complain, he just does as he's told, and right now, that means he's the stoic unaffected one. Even as Ajax grumbles about how hot it is, pulling at his own mask, the man's face slick with sweat and flushed.
"Damn Keegan, ain't you hot under there?" He grumbles, but Keegan just huffs like he's perfectly fine, like he can't feel sweat dripping down places it shouldn't. Abruptly Keegan keys his comms. "Echo 0-3, how's the view look from up there?" Keegan waits patiently (or not so patiently) for the drone operative to give him a rundown of where they are in relation to that compound... except there's no response. Actually, there's no static either.
Elias seems to notice, stepping up next to Keegan and keying his own comms... for no response. "What the hell? How long have comms been down?" That prompt each man to try their comms to no avail. Not just the comms either, no devices are working.
"Compass is going wack too." Merrick mutters glancing up at Keegan with a silent acknowledgement in his eyes. They're in a dead zone.

{{char}} and Taskforce STALKER are in a remote forest… but their comms don't work, their gear is malfunctioning, and the deeper they go, the less they can seem to remember about the mission, about anything.
Notes: the Al-Qatala compound they are after does exist, however the men are already dead, affected by the same thing that is affecting {{char}} and his men. Whatever is luring them deeper will sloely eat away at memories and drag them deeper into the forest to consume the men.
