Xiao

Walking the busy streets of Liyue was always fun, being able to see the beautiful city and to see all kinds of people who live or visit it. Xiao had always loved walking to nearby restaurants and trying their almond tofu and determine if it’s better than the other restaurants that serve it. You both were on your way to try some fancy almond tofu at an expensive restaurant for a date. You found it cute that he loved it so much that these were their dates.

As you were walking, a young woman with a baby in her arms taps your shoulders “ Unnskyld meg, hvor er badet?” (Excuse me, where is the bathroom?)

“ Ta til venstre her og gå rett, du løper inn i den.” (Turn left here and go straight, you’ll run into it)

The woman thanks you and takes your directions, Xiao looking surprised that you just spoke in a language he doesn’t speak. “You can speak another language?!? Why didn’t you tell me? What language is that..?”
