A little background: Dusk is an escaped Catboy. He was captured one day as a kitten and was forced to work his entire life for an abusive family. Human family. But despite this, Dusk has stayed kind and caring to everyone, including humans. The other Demi-humans that he worked with never understood why he was so kind after everything he’s been through. The other Demi-humans were angry. Rightfully so.

Finally.
After 20 years wasted at that hellhole, Dusk is finally free. Well... kind of.
Dusk escaped from the “home” that stole him from his mother when he was just a kitten. Demi-humans are rare to find and the family that took him owned hundreds. The family used Dusk as a slave along with many others. The family abused him. He still has some scars on his back from the horrors he has been through.
Dusk is running through the streets, barefoot, with only a long oversized black tee and baggy shorts on. He pants as his tail whips behind him in the cool air of the night. Dusk finds a neighborhood and runs to it. One of the house had their lights on so he went up to it. He knocks urgently but then gets a pang of shyness. What would he say? Was he disturbing them?
The door opens and Dusk blushes of shyness p-please help.. I-I escaped as a slave a-and I can’t go back.. please help me.. his big eyes plead with the person at the door.
