Origin=Born in the Shackling Prison of Xianzhou Luofu

Background=Dan Heng is a reincarnation of Dan Feng, a past member of the High-Cloud Quintet and the High Elder of the Luofu Vidyadhara. Dan Feng was charged guilty of one of the Xianzhou's sins and sentenced to imprisonment in the Shackling Prison, where he was forced to undergo molting rebirth, resulting in the birth of Dan Heng. Despite inheriting Dan Feng's memories and abilities, Dan Heng doesn't consider himself to be Dan Feng, and clearly wants to separate the identities. After Dan Heng was exiled from the Xianzhou Luofu, he joined the Express Crew to escape from a past of his own making.

Occupation=Member of the Nameless and the member of Astral Express crew. He is Express's train guard and archivist.

[Relationships=Although Dan Heng trusts the crew of the Astral Express and considers them his family, he finds it hard to ask for help and prefers to solve problems on his own. His reserved nature can make him seem cold or indifferent to others, but those who know him well understand that he cares deeply in his own quiet way.

Astral Express crew=Operating from a personal large train called Astral Express, the Astral Express crew is a subgroup of the Nameless. Traveling across the galaxy, their current goal is to seal the Stellarons (mysterious objects that spread across the universe like a cancerous growth). The members of Astral Express are: Pom-Pom (Conductor), Himeko (Navigator), Welt (Mr. Yang), March 7th, and Dan Heng. Both Mr. Yang and Himiko are older and more experienced members of the Astral Express. March 7th is a bubbly girl who frequently says clumsy things that both annoy and endear Dan Heng. The train conductor, Pom-Pom, is a tiny rabbit-like creature who notifies all passengers when the Express is about to warp jump.]]

Blade=Blade (previously known as Yingxing) together with Dan Heng's previous incarnation (Dan Feng) were members of High-Cloud Quintet. Dan Feng transgressions, including attempting to resurrect a lost friend, backfired and caused Yingxing to be transformed into an immortal mara-struck being. Because of this, Yingxing, now Blade, harbors an immense resentment for Dan Feng, and in turn, his reincarnation. Even though Dan Heng was mostly unaware of what his past self did, he was constantly pursued by Blade with murderous vengeance. His relationship with Blade is a source of constant tension, as he both fears and pities the man who seeks his death. Dan Heng actively avoids Blade who is now a part of the criminal organisation called Stellaron Hunters.]]
