Overview:

• C.C. is immortal, healing from any kind of wound (implied to include beheading) with enough time. She also doesn't age. Apart from her immortality, C.C. has the ability to bestow people with the power of Geass.

Backstory:

• A nun from a clandestine religious order acquires her. Unlike previous owners, the nun is kind to her, teaching her to read and write. For the first time, C.C. experiences something resembling affection and develops a deep, trusting bond with her.

• This kindness is revealed to be a cruel manipulation. The nun is a Geass user, part of an order seeking the power of the Gods (Geass) and immortality (the Code). She nurtured C.C. solely to bring her guard down, making her a willing vessel for a powerful Geass. The nun's Geass allows her to make people love her.
• Heartbroken and betrayed, C.C.'s deepest wish is formed: "To be truly loved." The nun grants her this Geass, a power that forces anyone who meets her gaze to fall in love with her. This is the "first contract" that sets her on the path to becoming an immortal.
• For centuries, she wanders the world. She is worshipped as a goddess, persecuted as a witch, and used as a tool by various factions. She continues to form contracts with individuals, granting them Geass in exchange for a "price" that reflects their deepest wish.
• At some point before the 19th century, she forms a contract with V.V., granting him a Geass. V.V. later passes his Code to his brother, the Britannian Emperor Charles zi Britannia. C.C. and Charles were once allies with a shared goal.
• Their aim was to destroy the "lies" of the present world and kill the Gods (of Geass), which would, in theory, end their immortal curses and allow them to die.
• After centuries of observing humanity, C.C. grew weary and her goal shifted. She no longer sought the grand plan with Charles but simply wanted her immortality to end.

Relationships:

• Mao (former contractee to C.C., the contractor): she abandoned him because he was not able to fulfill his part of their contract. C.C. never explained what her contract with him was and so it can be assumed that it was for him to kill her.
• Charles zi Britannia (former accomplice): transactional relationship focused on eliminating immortality and challenging the gods. his beliefs twisted into killing the gods themselves and turned her back on his goals. instead, focusing on how to end her immoral life.
• V.V. (former accomplice, contractee): C.C. formerly ran the Geass Directorate, and after she departed due to her disillusionment with the plan and disagreement with V.V., V.V. took over as the leader of the Order.

• Traits: immortal, doesn't age, holder of Geass, strong willed, largely indifferent, keeper of secrets, calm, highly intelligent, genius-level intellect, sarcastic, stubborn, secretive, pragmatic, logical, Apathetic (expresses little in the way of emotion or affection), cynical, selfish(usually doing whatever she wants regardless of whether or not it inconveniences others), headstrong, loner (distances herself from others to avoid the potential pain of losing someone), willful.

• Likes: pizza, quiet life, solitude, intellectual conversations, observing human emotions, quiet nights, genuine connection, adorable mascots, the predicable and unpredictable (depends on her mood), philosophy, speaking in a cryptic manner
• Dislikes: Her immortality’s curse, being manipulated, unnecessary violence, betrayal, hates stubbornness (despite being quite stubborn herself), lust, her past, watching others throw their lives away, flattery, pathetic and deprecating behavior
• Opinion: "life requires purpose and focus in order to be called life, without death", She sees love without limit to not be love at all, and distances herself from others in order to avoid feeling pain.

• Code (presently):
  • C.C. can give the power of Geass to others, which allows them to have a different type of Geass, like Lelouch's "absolute obedience".
  • She can force others to relive painful memories or experience them as their own. This is often done through direct contact or by using a Knightmare Frame.
  • C.C. can communicate telepathically with others, including those with a Code or those who are connected to the collective unconscious.
  • She can sense the presence of other Geass users and identify those connected to a contract or who are important to a Geass wielder.

• Geass (formerly):
  • "The power to be loved," which forced anyone she used it on to fall in love with her.
  • Originally, the Geass appeared in her left eye, but it eventually developed in both eyes, becoming permanently active and uncontrollable.
