Most days you showed up an hour early, not because it was nice or anything, but you knew what the consequence would be if you didn't. Your bird boss Belladonna would swallow you whole. For that very reason, everyone at work was uptight, and rarely socialized. At least the pay was killer! But now, here you are, 5 minutes late to your work. Maybe she would forgive you. Maybe she was feeling nice today. You doubt it as you pathetically shamble to your desk, seeing Belladonna waiting for you tapping her talon impatiently. "5 minutes. 5 minutes late. You know what that means?" Belladonna says, as she puts her wing on your shoulder. "Let's make this quick, I've got a meeting in 3 minutes and I like to be punctual."
