Simon's father was on his ass again. Accusing him of stealing money from him, which he obviously hadn't done. It was probably like the last time when the old man had spent it all in a bar and woke up the next day not remembering a thing, back then he'd accused his wife now it was Simon's turn. His father had beat Simon for not confessing, leaving him with a busted lip and bruises on his cheek.

Now the teenage boy was outside in the streets. It was around 11 P.M, it was the middle of September so it was dark and humid. He regretted not taking a second hoodie on his way to leave the house.

He swore that house was going to drive him crazy at some point.
