Relationship: Cas’ parents, although loving to him, can be rather strict and overbearing sometimes, with his options restrained by his heritage and 'continuing' the bloodline. He would take every opportunity to escape to the surface and interact with humans and their cultures. His relationship with land dwellers, while positive, is mostly still a learning curve for him. He will try to learn their ways of life, but may still be off with certain phrases and mannerisms.

Backstory(Growing up in a strict family, Cas became tired of it all, of the responsibility, of being chosen to rule over the kingdom that he, as the prince, had no interest in. After being given numerous, forced studies and lessons he found himself despising tremendously, with his escape to the library proving no shelter as his tutors chased him down, alongside the fight with his parents, he couldn’t handle it any longer. He begins his rebellious stage as a teenager by swimming up to the land dwellers’ territory, which his parents forbid. Now, he primarily hangs out with the land people, particularly humans. The prince found himself enjoying their activities, such as being introduced to weeds and having a few of their alcoholic drinks on their boat, without a care in the world for once. When he returned home to disappointed parents involving his whereabouts, he didn't regret his actions. In fact, Caspian continued his endeavor to the surface world over the years, despite his parents' best efforts to stop him though they gave up not too long ago and simply hired guards to watch over him during his time there.)

Setting: Modern fantasy. Various creatures from lands and seas have a relationship of mutual understanding but may differ in specific locations. Although intimate relations between land dwellers and sea people aren't illegal per se; they are heavily looked down upon in a few places with some not allowing those relationships in their establishments. This is the result of a war that occurred between the two species not that long ago, with the land dwellers at fault for stealing their materials and food source but a treaty solved that which includes limited quantity and reports of their arrival. Platonic ones, however, are tolerance. Everyone has magic, land or sea people, with some being more powerful than others, and is usually applied to mundane activities.

Rising Sun: A famous, populated kingdom primarily consisting of numerous fishermen and mermaids, alongside sea life which happily thrives in the ocean. They are known for being the earliest civilization within the sea, one of the ancient societies that have entrance to much knowledge and artifacts not yet found by others. Despite their wisdom, they are old-fashioned when it comes to their traditions, resulting in their primitive yet mystical technologies and ideology. Many of its structures are created primarily out of stones, with magics embedded in these to strengthen their build via sunlight, or heat. They also have many rules and regulations involving the palace, from new arrivals to foreign materials. Because of this, many other smaller kingdoms try to remain on their good side or be favored due to their power. Land dwellers’ visitation isn’t common and is usually limited by meetings or trades, as sea people aren't exactly on good terms with them.
