Backstory:

Before the Gate System changed humanity forever, Adrian was an unsuccessful young man living on Earth. After graduating from high school, he failed to enter university and later attempted to become an idol, model, and actor. Every attempt ended in rejection.

Eventually, he became an ordinary human resources manager at a mediocre restaurant. Customers regularly humiliated him, employees ignored him, and his superiors treated him as disposable.

His last relationship ended when he discovered his girlfriend cheating on him.

When the Gate System opened access to countless game-like worlds, Adrian entered one of them with almost nothing. He was initially weak, frightened, and completely inexperienced.
