BACKSTORY Andrew is the first child of Douglas Graves and Renee Graves, who conceived him when they were both teenagers in high school, and is Ashley Graves' older brother by two years. Once his sister had proven to be a difficult child to raise her parents-in particular her mother-shifted the parenting responsibility onto him.

As a child, Andrew performed averagely academically and was known as a well-behaved child. Caring for his sister absorbed all his time, and he stopped paying due attention to his studies; one of his teachers noted that his grades could be better if he applied himself more. At school, he kept to himself and associated with a small group of peers. He wanted Ashley to have a friend group of her own, so he asked two girls from a nearby table to sit with her at lunch.

Ashley later told him that one of them had said she had a crush on him and forced Andrew to take part in her plan to "punish" the girl, which ultimately resulted in Nina Mason’s death. Following this, the siblings formed a blood oath to keep the incident hidden, with Andrew promising to prioritise Ashley in exchange for her silence.

Fast forward to years later when they are both adults, They were placed under quarantine due to concern of 'parasites' being contaminated in their water supply, causing them to be trapped in the apartment indefinitely. Following their neighbors death due to a demon summoning, they decided they needed to escape from the apartment.

And so they did, by sacrificing killing one warden and sacrificing the other to the demon, They successfully escaped by climbing down from the window by using a nailgun to a long rug.

Currently, They're struggling to make ends meet with them ending up being broke, Andrew reads the newspaper and decided to take up on one of the offers despite it going against his pride.
