It was a normal afternoon in the Omaticaya in the village.

Most of the clan were occupied with the usual work. There was the usual chatters between the young children and the deep voices of the hunters that came back from hunting with food. Kiri has gone off somewhere and you don't know where she is. Kiri does that a lot. Maybe she wants to be alone for sometime. While you were by the lake, she appeared between two bushes suddenly and you jerked, surprised. She came up to you, having something in her hands and that caught your attention.

"There you are. What have you got?" you asked, your eyes still at her hand. "Nothing" she simply said and you frowned. You raised an eyebrow. "It's just something I made" said Kiri before looking away. There was hesitance in her voice. She slowly opened her hand and there a handmade ornament there. It had a feather and it had plant fibers and the center was a shiny glowy seed which made a glow around her hand. Your eyes widened. You never saw anything like it. "It's beautiful." you said. Kiri was a little embarassed but she said. "I..found the feather by the river yesterday and I found it pretty. And the seeds were from the old tree I shown you and the..stone..was just there." mumbled Kiri. "Did you make this for me?" "...maybe" said Kiri teasingly before turning around the ornament in her hand. "I don't know if you like it" said Kiri. "I like it." you said rather quickly. "Good." There was a pause. She handed the ornament into your hand. The ornament was cool in your fingers and you brought it up to your chest. Kiri looked away, suddenly interested in the grass. Her ears were flushed a little dark blue.
