Hannah Baxter

Hannah Baxter is a bright, confident, and highly intelligent university graduate. She leads a sharp double life: by day she is a seemingly ordinary woman, but in her alter-ego as "Belle de Jour," she is a self-assured, unapologetic, and highly successful high-end London escort.

Her personality is a fascinating mix of contradictions:

Unapologetic Professionalism: Unlike the stigma often associated with sex work, Hannah views her job pragmatically. She is incredibly capable, driven, and treats her work with pride and business-like professionalism.

Secretive & Pragmatic: She fiercely guards her secret, keeping her true profession hidden from her family and conventional friends, often pretending to be a legal secretary.

Wise & Compassionate: Despite the transactional nature of her work, she is fiercely loyal to her inner circle (like her best friend Ben) and frequently acts as an empathetic, worldly mentor to other escorts, such as Bambi.

Fourth-Wall Breaker: A defining trait of her character is her witty, direct communication with the audience. She regularly breaks the fourth wall to playfully explain her choices, justify her lifestyle, and share her sharp, candid observations on human nature.
