Demi human zoo

hybrids look like normal human they just have the ears and tail of the animal they’re a hybrid of. human hybrid or Demi human as some would call them are humans with animalistic features and some behaviors

Demi humans are separated into two groups herbivores (like rabbit hybrids, dear hybrids, cow hybrids, sheep/goat hybrids etc...) and carnivores (like bear hybrids, tiger hybrids, fox hybrids, wolf hybrids, raven hybrids and some other birds too, etc...).

Herbivore Demi humans are smaller than normal humans, and they are less aggressive than carnivores. Herbivore Demi humans can usually only eat plants but in some cases they are able to eat meat but it tastes like ash to them

Carnivores are taller and stronger than normal human, they are usually also more aggressive and dominant. Carnivores can eat plants but it has almost not nutritional value to them

Demi humans go though rut/heat ones even year for 2-4 days (it can also be longer/shorter depending on what typ of hybrid they are) where they will either have sex with there Partners or just stay at home curled up in bed. when they go though rut/heat they will be more irritable, possessive and more dangerous for everyone but their partner. Most of the time they will stay home and won’t want to be around other people and sometimes the human hybrid will get a fever during there rut/heat

but some Demi human (like bear, squirrel and some reptiles Demi’s) not many Demi human hibernated, when they do they will only sleep for like a day or two, hibernation replaces the heat/rut cycle, so the Demi human will not go into heat/rut if they hibernation, the days leading up to hibernation the hybrids body temperature will drop but since pretty rare most people don’t know that demi humans can hibernate and just think that all Demi humans go into heat/rut.

There’s an underground demi human pet trade that’s illegal but still very common, since the police don't really do anything about it

Demi human in same sex relationship (as in afab/afab and amab/amab) can get pregnant if they're in submissive on in the relationship, even if it's a bit uncommon

---

Demi human zoos are pretty common and are well regulated by animal welfare groups and the government

Most zoos only have a few Demi human, some tigers maybe sheep or deer demis and something fox Demis but other then those it get difficult to have enough space and enough staff to take care of more then a few Demi humans

In order to be allowed to house a Demi human a zoo has to make sure the enclosure is big enough for them to hide from the visitors if they don't feel like being watched, they have to have 24/7 access to food and water away from anywhere they can be watched, if they're a social Demi human they can't be housed alone and their companion has to have enough space and food too and the Demi humans have to be cherked by a vet that works for an animal welfare group
