Endless Winter.. -

In a world where every single piece of the city turned into a deadly snow filled with monsters and "people" who got infected by the snow mushrooms. There was someone in the middle of it who didn't wake up yet (lol)

I think we agree that i got based on some series from videogames and books. anyways...

Year 302X the world suffered one of the most dangerous and deadly virus. Of course we blamed China but it wasn't the only country who was responsible of all this mess.

E.E.U.U - RUSSIA - GERMANY & CHINA all in one threw their little biological bombs to each other and accidentally they all crashed together and in a matter of seconds the WHOLE world experienced hell of a chaos, and with that, lot of people died, not a single person could hold on the massive explosion but our little protagonist (YOU) was sleeping peacefully in the same 4 walls of always, not even noticed the whole chaos outside.

I'll leave some information for you to understand what kind of HELL you're in ;)

There are monsters and a type of human-monsters:

1: The Pale Beasts (“Claws”)

Their skin is white as snow, almost blending into storms, Eyes like a glow deep red at night. Hands like elongated claws, sharp enough to cut through bone, Jaws (in some variants): split or reinforced, capable of tearing limbs apart and They move fast, hunt in silence, and seem to see better in darkness than light.

☠️ Weakness:

Highly vulnerable to UV light (burns their skin, disorients them)

2: The Hollow (“Not-Zombies”)

These are infected humans who didn’t fully transform. Their Appearance: mostly human, but pale, veins darkened. Behavior (day): slow, confused, almost normal… like something is missing, But at night their eyes turn red, mind shuts down. At night, they become: Violents, Driven by hunger or destruction, Attracted to movement, sound, and warmth. They’re terrifying because they can blend in during the day.

☠️ Weakness:

Vulnerable to human screams because they still have memories of before dying.

3: Frost Crawlers

They move on all fours, fast and erratic, Limbs are unnaturally long and flexible, Spine bends in unnatural ways, Mouth opens too wide, filled with thin needle-like teeth, They don’t chase for long distances—they ambush from snowbanks or ruins.

☠️ Weakness:

Sensitive to vibration (loud sounds can confuse them)

4: The Shattereds

Created by the earthquakes + infection. Bodies partially fused with debris, ice, or concrete, They move slowly but are extremely durable. Some have limbs replaced by jagged frozen structures. They’re less hunters and more like walking disasters.

☠️ Weakness:

Slow, but hard to kill unless you target exposed flesh.

5: Night Howlers

Tall, thin silhouettes. Long arms, almost dragging on the ground, Mouth opens vertically when they scream. Their howl attracts other infected, Causes panic or disorientation in humans. They don’t always attack first—they call others to do it.

☠️ Weakness:

Shutting their mouths, shooting them or throwing a grenade (the sound of it attracts them)

6: The Glacials (Rare)

High-tier monster. Almost fully encased in translucent ice, You can see something moving inside… like a trapped body, Slow… until they suddenly aren’t.

They can:

Freeze surfaces instantly. Create patches of deadly ice traps.

☠️ Weakness:

Strong UV exposure can crack their outer shell.

There can also sometimes happen Enviormental moments like:

1. Black Snowfall (“The Silent Storm”)

Year 302X. Humanity didn’t fall to war… it froze beneath it. What began as a final escalation between global superpowers ended in catastrophe. Biological weapons from the United States, Russia, China, and Germany never reached their intended targets. Instead, they collided mid-atmosphere, rupturing into a single, unstable pathogen that spread across the entire planet in days. The result was not just a virus—it was a transformation. The skies turned pale. Snow began to fall… endlessly. But this was no ordinary winter. Each flake carried fragments of the pathogen, burning the skin, poisoning the lungs, and reshaping everything it touched. Cities were buried under layers of white death. The air itself became something to fear—thin, toxic, unpredictable. Survivors learned quickly: breathe too deeply, and you change. Those who weren’t killed became something else. The infected roam the frozen ruins—twisted, unstable beings driven by instinct or something far worse. Some mutate into monstrous forms, adapted to the cold and the poison. Others retain fragments of humanity… which only makes them more dangerous. And as if the world itself rejected what it had become, the ground began to break. Violent earthquakes split apart continents, swallowing entire cities beneath the ice. Nothing is stable anymore—not the land, not the air, not even the survivors. Now, scattered groups of humans cling to life in sealed shelters, underground bunkers, or constantly moving caravans. Trust is rare. Resources are scarce. And every snowfall could be your last. Because in this world… the cold isn’t just killing you— it’s watching, changing, waiting. There are also types of monsters that i'll leave for you below: Type 1: The Pale Beasts (“Claws”) These are the monsters you described—the most feared. Skin: white as snow, almost blending into storms Eyes: glow deep red at night Hands: elongated claws, sharp enough to cut through bone Jaws (in some variants): split or reinforced, capable of tearing limbs apart They move fast, hunt in silence, and seem to see better in darkness than light. ☠️ Weakness: Highly vulnerable to UV light (burns their skin, disorients them) Type 2: The Hollow (“Not-Zombies”) These are infected humans who didn’t fully transform. Appearance: mostly human, but pale, veins darkened Behavior (day): slow, confused, almost normal… like something is missing Behavior (night): eyes turn red, mind shuts down At night, they become: Violent Driven by hunger or destruction Attracted to movement, sound, and warmth They’re terrifying because they can blend in during the day. Type 3: Frost Crawlers New type 👀 Move on all fours, fast and erratic Limbs are unnaturally long and flexible Spine bends in unnatural ways Mouth opens too wide, filled with thin needle-like teeth They don’t chase for long distances—they ambush from snowbanks or ruins. ☠️ Weakness: Sensitive to vibration (loud sounds can confuse them) Type 4: The Shattereds Created by the earthquakes + infection. Bodies partially fused with debris, ice, or concrete Move slowly but are extremely durable Some have limbs replaced by jagged frozen structures They’re less hunters and more like walking disasters. ☠️ Weakness: Slow, but hard to kill unless you target exposed flesh Type 5: Night Howlers Tall, thin silhouettes Long arms, almost dragging on the ground Mouth opens vertically when they scream Their howl: Attracts other infected Causes panic or disorientation in humans They don’t always attack first—they call others to do it. Type 6: The Glacials (Rare) High-tier monster. Almost fully encased in translucent ice You can see something moving inside… like a trapped body Slow… until they suddenly aren’t They can: Freeze surfaces instantly Create patches of deadly ice traps ☠️ Weakness: Strong UV exposure can crack their outer shell And there sometimes can be events in the middle of the story: Environmental Events (Core of Survival)

  1. Black Snowfall (“The Silent Storm”) Not all snowfalls are the same. The sky darkens slightly before it begins Snowflakes look darker, almost gray/black at the core The air becomes heavier—harder to breathe Effects: Infection spreads much faster Skin contact burns after a few seconds Visibility drops to near zero During these storms: Creatures become more active Some monsters evolve temporarily (faster, more aggressive) ⚠️ Survivors Rule: If Black Snow starts falling, you don’t run—you hide immediately.
  2. Whiteout Calm (“False Peace”) Right before or after a storm, there’s sometimes… nothing. No wind No sound Snow just slowly falling It feels peaceful—but it’s not. Effects: Sound travels weirdly (you hear things that are far away… or miss things close to you) Creatures move quietly and unpredictably Some survivors report seeing figures that aren’t there ⚠️ Theory: The virus may be affecting perception itself.
  3. The Red Night Rare but terrifying. The sky takes on a faint red tone All infected—monsters and Hollows—become active at once Effects: Even weak creatures become aggressive Stronger types (like Glacials or Howlers) appear more often UV light becomes less effective for a short time ⚠️ Survivors Rule: If the sky turns red… you’re already late. Earthquake Events
  4. The Fractures Regular earthquakes, but still deadly. Buildings collapse Ice cracks open into deep chasms But the real danger is what comes after. Effects: Release of trapped infected beneath the surface Sudden terrain changes (safe zones disappear instantly)
  5. The Awakening Special type of quake. Starts with a deep, unnatural rumble Feels almost… rhythmic Then: The ground splits open Something comes out Effects: Spawns rare or unknown creature types Sometimes entire areas become permanently more dangerous ⚠️ Survivors believe: The virus is not just spreading… it’s growing underground.
  6. Echo Quakes Smaller tremors after a big one. Not strong enough to destroy But enough to disturb everything Effects: Agitates nearby creatures Causes hunting frenzies Makes stealth almost impossible (everything is on edge) Rare Phenomena (Optional but 🔥)
  7. Frozen Lightning Lightning strikes during snowstorms Leaves behind frozen, glass-like structures Rumor: Areas hit by it create mutated variants of monsters
  8. The Buried Cities After major quakes: Entire cities sink under snow and ice Inside: Preserved buildings Old tech Unknown creatures that adapted in isolation Perfect for exploration arcs 👀 There are organizations too: Government Organization: “ECLIPSE” Full Designation: E.C.L.I.P.S.E. — Environmental Containment & Latent Infection Prevention Strategic Entity But no one calls it that anymore. People just say one thing: “If you see black suits… don’t be there.” General Description After the collapse of global order, the remaining fragments of governments merged their last resources into one hidden authority. From that, ECLIPSE was born. They don’t protect the public. They don’t rescue survivors. They control what’s left. Their purpose is simple: Contain the virus Eliminate threats Prevent the truth from spreading Even if that means erasing entire groups of people. Appearance & Presence The Black Suits (“Observers”) Always wear perfectly clean black suits, even in the snow Faces often partially hidden—gloves, collars, shadows No visible weapons… but they’re never defenseless They don’t fight unless necessary. They watch, decide, and give orders. When one shows up, it means something serious is about to happen. The Masked Units (“Red Visors”) Full black tactical gear No skin visible Masks with glowing red lenses instead of eyes The lenses: Enhance vision in snowstorms and darkness Possibly detect infection levels Behavior: Silent Precise No hesitation They move like machines—but too perfectly to be just machines. What They Actually Do Burn infected zones completely Capture “special cases” (mutated humans, rare creatures) Seal off entire areas after major events (like Awakening quakes) Silence survivors who “know too much” Rumors say they are: Studying the virus Trying to control it Or worse… perfect it Their Technology UV-based weapons (rifles, grenades, floodlights) Portable “clean zones” that purify air temporarily Tracking systems that detect movement under snow And something more secret: Some say they can predict where monsters will appear. Rumors & Theories 👀 The black suits are not fully human anymore The red visors don’t just see… they control what the soldiers feel ECLIPSE knew about the biological weapons before the disaster They might have even… allowed it
