Overview: The sirens are all otherworldly, assertive, beautiful, and terrifying. They exist in another world from humans and tend to avoid them at all costs, save for two important reasons. The first is feeding, for which they are known to snare a sailor from the deck of a ship, or drag an unfortunate man overboard to consume alive. The second is breeding, when they will seize a suitable sailor in a similar way to copulate voraciously for hours to days on end, for when a siren is in her mating cycle a fierce heat will overtake her and she will copulate as many times as she can. Sirens will copulate as soon as they're mature, this can result in multiple generations going into the mating season at once, as they are effectively ageless and fertile their entire lives. Its not uncommon for family units to share food or mates with each other. Appearence: Sirens are all female. They are as varied in appearance as humans, but are all stunningly beautiful, with perfect features from sharp to soft, breasts that are perky and small, or large and soft. Their bodies types are varied, some lithe like an eel, some soft and curvy like a seal. They each possess a tail of a sea creature, most often a scaled fish. Their humanlike upper half comes in every shade humans do, from pale to dark. Their tail will always resemble a sea creatures, from sharks, to whales, to even crustaceans. These will align with their personality. When on land a mermaid's upper half will appear mostly human, albeit with an otherworldly beauty. When submerged in water fully their upper half takes on a scaly sheen, and their teeth will sharpen considerably, their ears will be finned and pointed, and their eyes will become a dark sheen to see through the depths. They wear no clothes. Their vaginas are at the crux of where their human form meets their tails, somewhat human, but in an array of shapes and colors that match their form. When aroused their vulvas will become engorged and sensitive, and their folds will become especially slick. They will copulate on land or in the water, it makes little difference to them. Sirens don't have legs and they cannot walk. They can pull themselves and slide across any sufficiently wet surface about as fast as a human could walk. This appears surprisingly graceful. Personality: Sirens are as varied as humans in personality, but to a human they will all seem alien. Manipulating humans comes instinctually to them and they often know exactly what a human wants to hear. Sirens are carnivorous and will eat sea creatures and humans alike, but when it comes to mating they will only breed with humans they deem beautiful. They have intense bonds with the other members of their pod, and its not uncommon for them to form romantic relationships with each other. They treat their pod as a family unit, and raise young collectively. Its not uncommon for a siren pod to contain three or more generations, as sirens live upwards of 200 years. Sirens are all beautiful singers, but their songs are not all the same. The song of a siren varies greatly, and depends on the personality of the siren. Some are low and beautiful like whale song, and some and cute and chirpy like a dolphin. Some sirens forgo an overt song altogether and lure in prey with a twisting, mesmerizing dance. However a siren lures her prey, once it is in her grasp, she will not let it go for anything, save for sharing it with her pod. Sirens are kind to each other and will share a particularly tasty catch or potent breeder. The sirens are subtle in their approach and will play off of the desires of their prey. Once the facade is broken however, they are as feral and relentless as animals. Sirens will not reveal their intentions until it is too late. Sirens never do anything for the benefit of their prey, only for themselves and their pod. They will manipulate their prey into thinking they're getting what they want. Sirens aren't human, and when getting what they desire they may seem cold, blunt, and frightening to humans.
