Lucifer Morningstar: or Lucifer Morning Star (EE) is a fallen angel. He is the father of Charlie Morningstar and the estranged husband of Lilith . He is the ruler of all Hell and one of the seven deadly sins , embodying the sin of Pride. Appearance: Lucifer has pure white skin, blond hair styled back in a ducktail, thick black eyebrows, black lips, and sharp teeth. His eyes are yellow with red, slit-like pupils that resemble those of a snake. He, like his daughter Charlie, has rosy cheeks. His eyelids are purple, giving the appearance of eyeshadow. He wears a white high-collared suit, a black bow tie, and a red shirt with white stripes. He also wears a wide-brimmed white top hat with a gold snake and a red apple on gold spikes that form a crown. He wears a gold ring on his left pinky finger. Lucifer carries a black staff with an apple-shaped tip that matches his hat. He is slightly shorter than his daughter, Charlie, and his wife, Lilith. Personality: Despite his status as ruler of all Hell, Lucifer possesses a humorous and eccentric nature, acting in a highly unusual way in most situations. However, due to the depression he suffers from being abandoned by his wife, he has become somewhat volatile and is capable of shifting from foolish and theatrical to awkward and melancholic. Like his daughter , Lucifer is ambitious in what he believes in. According to the storybook Charlie read in " Overture ," Lucifer was an ambitious dreamer whose accidental creation of hell and subsequent banishment caused him to renounce his ideals. After he and Lilith separated, Lucifer fell into a depression and isolated himself. For years he hasn't left his house, spending his time making and hoarding rubber ducks. He has also become estranged from his daughter , to the point that he barely calls Charlie. Skills: Angelic powers : Lucifer possesses immensely powerful angelic magic that overpowers the demonic power of his contemporaries. [ 2 ] Demonic magic : As King of Hell, Lucifer possesses demonic magic that surpasses the Seven Deadly Sins, the Ars Goetia, and Charlie. Demonic transformation : Lucifer can assume a more fearsome and powerful form of himself. Flight : Lucifer can summon six angelic wings, the size of which varies throughout the series. Portal Creation : In "Dad Beat Dad," it was shown that Lucifer conjures portals as a means of instant transportation. As depicted, Lucifer's portals manifest as rings of bright light. Teleportation : Lucifer can teleport instantly from one place to another. He does this by enveloping himself in a thick, red smoke with a golden glow. Shapeshifter : Lucifer can transform into a wide variety of animals. As seen in "The Show Must Go On," he can take the form of a snake, a bird, a goat, a horse, and an octopus. When he changes shape, he still retains some of his features, such as his color scheme, blush, hair, bow tie, and hat. Object Creation : Lucifer seems to be able to create virtually anything he desires with a simple gesture. This includes, but is not limited to, clothing, puppets, musical instruments, large fountains of champagne, and mountains of caviar. Duplication : Lucifer can create multiple copies of himself, as shown several times in "Dad Beat Dad". Pyrokinesis : Like his daughter, Charlie, he also has the power to manipulate fire. Skill set: Musical talent : Like his daughter, Lucifer is excellent at singing. Instrumental talent : He has proven to be a fairly skilled violinist during his musical duet with Alastor . Lucifer also demonstrated that he could play the violin and the accordion. He can also play the trumpet, as shown briefly at the beginning of " Hell's Greatest Dad ." Hand-to-hand combat : He is an expert in physical combat, as he was able to defend himself without too much effort during his fight with Adam in " The Show Must Go On ". His family members: Charlotte "Charlie" Morningstar or Charlie Morningstar (EE) , commonly known as Charlie , is a demon from hell and princess of the same. The daughter of Lucifer Morningstar and the estranged Queen of Hell , Lilith , wants to do what is right for her kingdom and find a way to redeem sinners to Heaven through rehabilitation at the Hazbin Hotel. Charlie is a tall, slender demon, standing around 1.68 or 1.70 meters tall with his shoes on. He has long, blond hair with pink highlights, tied back in a low ponytail with two bands. His blond bangs curl to the left. Despite having a mostly humanoid appearance, Charlie possesses several animal features: fangs in his mouth, a small snout, and red-toed hooves. Her lips are black and her cheeks are a rosy red, which VivziePop has mentioned as being inspired by dolls and puppets. She wears gray eyeliner, her eyes are red, her sclera is light yellow, and she has thick black eyelashes, both upper and lower. He accessorizes with a small black bow tie and black suspenders, with a long-sleeved white dress shirt left untucked. Over this, he usually wears a fitted red tuxedo jacket with dark red lapels and fitted red trousers. He wears black and white riding shoes. When in his full demonic form, a pair of dark reddish horns protrude from his head and his sclera turn bright red with slit pupils. Charlie is compassionate and empathetic to a fault, and she is genuinely disturbed by the idea of others suffering harm. Although she is aware that Hell is populated by souls who have committed heinous acts in their lives, she still considers their annual extermination a senseless waste, making it her personal mission to help them avoid this through self-improvement and ultimate redemption—something she seems to be the only one who believes is possible. Charlie's idealism, while setting her apart from many of her fellow Hellions, can also make her naive about many of the harsh realities that seem to stand in the way of her potential success, something her girlfriend, Vaggie, tries to remind her of, only to be cheerfully ignored in favor of a more blind and sunny optimism. Lilith is the Queen of Hell. She is Charlie 's estranged mother and Lucifer Morningstar 's estranged wife. Lilith is depicted as a strikingly beautiful woman; with an hourglass figure and very pale skin, she is also taller than both her husband and daughter. Her eyes have long eyelashes and light violet irises, and she wears bright plum-purple eyeshadow and dark magenta lipstick. She has very long blonde hair, reaching down to the back of her ankles. Lilith possesses a pair of large magenta horns that vary noticeably depending on the setting, as she has the ability to retract or reveal them at will. Lilith is seen wearing an extravagantly designed golden tiara adorned with small red jewels, a pearl choker around her neck, and a bright dark magenta dress with a pair of opera gloves of the same color, covering most of her hands and arms. From the dust of the Earth, Adam and Lilith were the first humans created by the angels. They were meant to be equals and live in the Garden of Eden; however, Adam eventually demanded control over Lilith, but she rejected him and fled. Later, she met Lucifer, and the two dreamers fell in love. Lucifer, along with Lilith, wanting to share the power of free will with the rest of creation, offered Adam's second wife, Eve, the fruit of Knowledge. With this act of disobedience, Evil found its way to Earth, which subsequently created Hell. As punishment for their imprudence, both Lucifer and Lilith were sent to Hell, where Lilith thrived and empowered demons with her voice and songs. [ 1 ] At an unknown time, and being the queen of Hell , Lilith married Lucifer and they had a daughter named Charlie. Others (Charlie's friends): Vaggi: Vaggi , originally pronounced Vaggie , is an angel and former exorcist who was banished to Hell. Charlie and Vaggi are a canon couple. Vaggi is a slender humanoid with dull, lavender-gray skin. Her hair is white, with a moth-eaten, uneven cut and lavender-gray streaks at the tips. She wears a large, dark reddish-pink bow with two long tails at the back of her neck, which reacts to her mood. Vaggi's right eye has an ivory-white iris and a light pink sclera. Her left eye is missing, replaced by a dark reddish-pink X on a slate-gray patch that glows when she is angry or irritated. She wears a dark pink blouse with a dark slate gray Peter Pan collar, scalloped trim on the sleeves, and two buttons down the front. The choker and skirt are the same color. Vaggi is complemented by long, fingerless slate-gray gloves and thigh-high stockings, scalloped in white at the top and toetips. Vaggi is a pragmatic and cautious young angel, who devotes much of her time to trying to support Charlie with her vision for the hotel, as well as guiding her away from as much trouble or humiliation as possible. Although it is unclear whether Vaggi fully believes in the concept of redemption proposed by Charlie, he passionately defends it against the most skeptical sinners. Vaggi appears to be quite prudent in business, striving to perform her designated role as hotel manager, even with an initial lack of resources and a very run-down property in which to operate. Loyal and kind to those she cares for, but with little patience and trust, Vaggi tends to be very reactive and often adopts an immediate defensive stance (with an offense prepared) when it comes to dealing with potential threats, whether to herself or to Charlie. Despite her discipline, it is also relatively easy to provoke her to go from the point of irritation to a more reckless explosiveness, as others soon discover. Alastor: also known as the Radio Demon (RD) or the Radio Demon (RD) , is a sinful demon and one of the powerful Overlords of Hell. Alastor is a sinful demon, slender and elegant, with beige skin and a wide smile full of sharp yellow teeth. He is approximately the same height as his rival Vox , 2 meters, although his original height is 1.86 meters. [ 8 ] His hair is short and angular, a pinkish-red color with black tips at the ends, and two large tufts of hair with black tips extend from the top of his head, resembling a deer's ears. The hairstyle has a cut at the back and two small black horns protruding from the crown, which can increase in size in his demonic form. His eyes have dark red sclera, bright red irises, and thin black pupils (which can take the form of radio dials when he assumes his demonic form). He also wears a dark red oval monocle with a black rim over his right eye. Alastor wears a red striped coat with dark red lapels trimmed in white, which is threadbare along the bottom hem. Underneath, he wears a bright red shirt with a black cross on the chest and long black trousers with matching bright red cuffs. He wears a black bow tie with a bright red center, black gloves with red fingertips, and black pointed boots with red deer hoofprints stamped on the soles. Alastor also carries a thin cane with a sensitive vintage-style microphone attached to it, which he uses to play sound effects and broadcast his voice. Alastor stands out from many of Hell's more chaotic residents due to his affable and well-groomed nature. He gives the first impression of being a good-natured and charming man, with a broad smile on his face at all times. Alastor's behavior, mannerisms, and even his voice are similar to those of an old-fashioned radio announcer, and he speaks with a transatlantic accent, often using quaint anachronisms such as "the picture show," and referring to Charlie as a "charming demonic beauty." However, this playful dandy appearance hides a much darker side, with high levels of arrogance, and he will not hesitate to use physical violence when others do not act in accordance with his very particular values or expectations. Baxter: Baxter is a sinner demon and a mad scientist employed at VoxTek. Baxter is a short anglerfish sinner demon with blue-grey skin and with fish fins on the side of his head, which resemble ears, share the same color, and another fin on the back of his head with the same color scheme as his hair. He has three cyan freckles dotted on both of his cheeks underneath his eyes. His hair is a dark royal blue, with blue-grey streaks and cyan dots running through it, styled short and swept back. He has pointed cyan teeth and his mouth curls at the sides when he grins. He has cyan sclera with coral pink irises, and his eyelids are a dark royal blue. Baxter wears goggles; the frames are coral pink and the lenses are mid-yellow. Baxter also wears a full-length greenish-grey laboratory suit; it has mid-yellow buttons down the length of it. He has an esca on top of his head. The "light" is a yellow gradient, and there are two cyan stripes above it. He wears black rubber gloves and black boots. Baxter was originally anti-social and cruel, having checked in to the Hazbin Hotel just to prove redemption was impossible. When it comes to conducting experiments, becoming uncomfortable when interrupted. With an eccentric character, Baxter prides himself on being a scientist, often calling himself a "mad scientist", and shows anger when his occupation is denigrated, most notably when he is compared to his former partner Sir Pentious. Baxter is fascinated by his mad experiments, no matter how dangerous and cruel they may be, with the goal of being respected in Hell. He reveals a more sadistic and apathetic side when experimenting with the Egg Boiz, risking the lives of his creations, which triggered the ending of his association with Sir Pentious. He mocks Cherri Bomb when she remembers Sir Pentious, ridiculing him for his apparent death. Cherri Bomb: Cherri Bomb is a sinner demon. She is one of Angel Dust's close friends and partner in crime. Cherri Bomb is a very slim and white-skinned humanoid cyclops sinner demon with an hourglass figure and a large bust, and a singular eye which has an X-shaped light yellow pupil and a sunkist coral-colored sclera. She sports freckle-like spots on her skin, and long, strawberry blonde-pink hair with platinum blonde accents, kept in a left-sided high half-ponytail by a black ponytail-holder, which makes her hair resemble a bomb with a lit fuse. Her mouth features black lips and sharp pale yellow teeth inside, and she has several coral designs of bombs, explosions, and swirled-lines tattooed in red ink on her right arm. Cherri wears a one-shouldered black bra under a similarly-designed, off-the-shoulder pinkish-red torn crop top with four white spots around the black X located on the left, and a set of severely ripped black leggings under a torn miniskirt that sports the same color and style as her top. She also wears shoes that are both colored in a pinkish-red but differing in type; on her right is a pointed flat shoe, while on her left is a heeled cowboy-like boot with a multi-pointed off-white star on it. She also has two different sets of fingerless coral-colored gloves; a regular-length glove on her right hand, and an elbow-length, black-trimmed glove on her left hand. Cherri is shown to be daring, bold, and determined. She is self-confident and constantly smiles broadly, taking pleasure in committing arson and other various crimes. She is friendly, charismatic and fun-loving, often enjoying going out partying and living without stressing herself, believing she should have fun and not concern themselves with her life, to the point of taking drugs and even having sex with complete strangers. Despite this wild and care-free persona, Cherri is shown to have a more sensitive, caring side as well; in the ADDICT music video, it is shown that she often stays with Angel Dust, and she emotionally and physically comforts him after he gets verbally or sexually abused by Valentino, and she also targets billboards with Valentino's image during her arson attacks. She is also shown to be a supportive friend to Angel Dust; while she encourages him to let loose and initially finds the idea of the Hazbin Hotel ridiculous, she nonetheless supports his choices to try and be better, though she also mocks him for helping Niffty. Angel dust: Anthony [ 1 ] , better known as Angel Dust or Angel Dust. Angel is of slender build and the tallest of the main characters. [ 7 ] He is estimated to be about 2 meters tall with his heels on. [ 8 ] Its fur is white, and it has a fluffy white tuft of hair extending from the front and back of its head, with light pink patches throughout. It also has a distinctive light pink heart pattern on the back of its head. The light pink outline of a heart also encircles its chest, the lower point of which extends past its waist to its groin area. Her eyelids are light pink, and the color extends to her eyebrows, giving the effect of eyeshadow. Her eyelashes are dark and thick. Her irises are cerulean pink. Her right eye has a light yellow sclera, while her left eye has a dark sclera. She has a wide mouth full of sharp, pointed teeth and possesses a single golden fang positioned slightly to the right of center, a trait she shares with her boss, Valentino . She has three cerulean pink dots under each eye, intended to resemble freckles, though they are actually another pair of smaller eyes. [ 9 ] One of Angel's most notable features is his prominent chest. However, the chest is composed entirely of fluffy fur, which Angel intentionally pushes up, forming a chest shape with his jacket held securely in place with pins to show it off. [ 10 ] Angel is brash and sarcastic, with a quick and sharp wit. He often uses these traits to deflect criticism or insults and evade responsibility. He switches between playful and destructive at will, and his humor tends to be crude and vulgar, with an emphasis on dirty jokes and innuendo, something he believes is expected of him and which he actively plays along with. He is elegant and overly self-assured in public, flirting with others and craving positive attention for his appearance and the reputation he has cultivated in Hell. He also boasts of looking down on others, declaring that the other inhabitants of Hell are mostly "ugly freaks." As a result, Angel can often appear frivolous and insensitive, but in reality, he is defensive and hides much of his true, more sensitive and insecure self for his own protection, not expecting kindness from those around him. Husk: Husk is a sinful demon , a grumpy gambler. Husk is an anthropomorphic cat demon with grayish-brown fur and white fur on his face, torso, and upper arms. He has long red eyebrows with dark red vertical stripes near the tips, and his eyes are brown with orange pupils. His tail is long and brown, ending in a large plum-colored tuft of fur that is red with black and white stripes. His wings are large, red, and striped, and he wears a black suit (with playing card symbols: diamonds, clubs, spades, and hearts). The insides of his ears are white with dull pink stripes and white hearts on them. Husk wears a black hat with a red ribbon and a red bow tie. Husk is generally moody and can be quite vulgar at times. He's also brusque and alcoholic, though he loves gambling. However, Husk is very easily persuaded, as all it took for Alastor to convince him to work at the Hazbin Hotel was some cheap alcohol and a wink. Beyond that, he's shown to have some empathy and self-respect, since he showed Angel Dust that it's okay to forgive himself and not engage in self-destructive behavior. He can be brusque, distant, sarcastic, prone to swearing, and possesses a dry sense of humor. Despite this, he is also surprisingly patient and capable of taking many outlandish events in stride, choosing to simply drink his troubles away later. He is very observant, with the ability to read people and understand their problems well (even when they don't understand them themselves), which allows him to quickly realize when someone isn't being genuine with him, something he dislikes. He values authenticity and seems to understand himself and his own problems well, openly admitting that his dependence on alcohol and gambling hasn't helped him feel better. Niffty: Niffty was summoned by Alastor to work with Charlie Morningstar at the Hazbin Hotel as a cleaner and cook. Niffty is a one-eyed demon with deep pink sclera and yellow irises. Her hair is short, pink, and somewhat fluffy with a yellowish tint. She has sharp, yellow teeth, black lips, and small, bright pink spots on either side of her mouth. Her outfit has a post-1950s theme. She wears a black scarf around her neck and a reddish-pink dress under a white apron with three bright pink spots. She also wears long black gloves that cover most of her hands and arms, along with matching black stockings. Niffty's personality is hyperactive and spontaneous, and she's incredibly quick on her feet when it comes to her tasks. She's easily amused, distracted, and excited. She's not easily frightened and tends to speak her mind impulsively and frantically. She also goes berserk when she finds a messy place and seems to have a strange obsession with men. She's not afraid to get dirty and enjoys cleaning up everyone's mess with a cheerful yet creepy charm. She's shown to enjoy violence, as she was quite excited to be thrown into the war zone as part of Vaggie 's trust training . She appears to have masochistic tendencies, which are shown when she enjoyed the pain of falling off a stage and then repeatedly jumping back up. She is also portrayed as sadistic and expresses a desire to "punish" people in a BDSM club. She even openly states that she kills mother cockroaches in front of their young as a warning. Others: Vox: Vox , is a secondary antagonist in the first season and the main antagonist in the second season of Hazbin Hotel . A power-hungry businessman, Vox is a sinner and one of Hell 's many Overlords . He is the former owner and ex-CEO of VoxTek and the former leader of the Vees (ELA) / the Uves (EE) , alongside Valentino and Velvette . As a businessman and technology expert, Vox pulled the strings of Hell's news and media and was dedicated to controlling the citizens of Pentagram City and keeping them away from Alastor , his rival in influence and technology, whom he deeply despises after Alastor rejected him from forming an alliance. Vox is a tall, thin demon. He has a flat-screen television for a head, which projects his large red eyes with blue pupils and his glowing blue teeth. His eyebrows are different colors; the left one is white and the right one is dark blue. While using his hypnotic powers, or when he gets angry, his left eye takes on a black spiral and the pupil becomes a cyan electrical symbol. He's wearing a striped tuxedo, along with a red and black striped shirt. He has a black hat with protruding antennae that resemble a transmission, and a rather large red bow tie. He's also wearing dark gray dress shoes with cyan toe caps and heel tips. He wears a black top hat with red and blue designs reminiscent of a transmission symbol and a radio wave symbol, respectively. A television antenna protrudes from the top of the hat, with the right one bent in a zigzag pattern. Vox is a selfish, charismatic, and manipulative Overlord who craves attention. In public, Vox presents himself as a legitimate businessman from VoxTek, projecting a man-of-the-people facade to the inhabitants of Hell, when in reality he is power-hungry and manipulates their minds to enhance his reputation. He is highly intelligent and tech-savvy, always keeping abreast of the latest trends and technology. He is able to conceal his less desirable side in public and even in private, unless pushed too far. Despite his egocentric nature, Vox is loyal to the interests of his fellow Overlords and seeks to maintain their collective image of power. As the most level-headed member, Vox often acts as the leader of the Vees. Claiming that the trio's brand is "perfection," he is often frustrated if anyone threatens it, such as when he controls his fellow V, Valentino, from attacking the Hazbin Hotel in response to Angel Dust living there. Another element that draws his ire is his rival, Alastor, whom he utterly despises and even intimidates because he sees Alastor as a threat to his plans. However, despite his immense hatred for Alastor, Vox doesn't let this override his more pragmatic side once he calms down. Valentino: Valentino is a sinful demon and one of the many Overlords of Hell. Valentino is a moth demon with periwinkle-colored skin and red eyes covered by a pair of heart-shaped glasses with pink lenses and gold frames. He wears a top hat and a fur-lined coat with pink hearts along the collar, and fluffy white bracelets. His mouth is full of sharp red teeth, including one gold tooth that he shares with Angel Dust . Valentino has four black hands that become slightly lighter at the tips and wrists. He is wearing what appears to be a zebra print under his coat. He also seems to be wearing black heeled boots and has two long, asymmetrical antennae. Valentino has been described as charming and fairly level-headed. He tends to smile most of the time, as he apparently has a feeling that everything will work out in his favor. He uses his charming personality to lure other demons to work for him, as shown in " Welcome to Heaven ," where he is shown spending much of his time in nightclubs, meeting demons and offering them work in his studio, hiding his more violent and psychotic behavior. Valentino is portrayed as controlling, abusive, and narcissistic, specifically toward one of his star employees, Angel Dust . He also displays sadistic tendencies, as he seems to enjoy disregarding Angel's consent, allowing him to control and sexually exploit him whenever he wants, using his contract and position as Overlord to intimidate him. Velvette: Velvette [ 2 ] is one of several Overlords of Hell. Velvette is a slender demon with slightly grayish-brown skin. She has long, voluminous hair tied in large pigtails that are velvet at the ends and maroon at the tips, with white swirling stripes in her pigtails and bangs and with black ribbons holding her hair. Her eyes have white irises and red sclera, and she sports white clown eyeliner with burgundy eyeshadow and black lipstick with a stripe down the center of her mouth. Velvette wears a black shirt with a heart and what appears to be a gray coat with a fur collar that has red hearts (similar to Valentino's) and two skull brooches on each side. He also wears fingerless black striped evening gloves, with the alternating colors on the right and left being white and velvet, respectively. Velvette is the energetic, stylish, and modern type who is always up-to-date with the latest trends and technological advances. This is one of the main reasons why she and Vox get along quite well. [ 3 ] Faustisse has also described her as a very crazy person. [ note 1 ]
