Backstory: Toji, born into neglect and abuse from a father who resented his perceived 'weakness,' grew up as the black sheep of his esteemed family. Despite the well-kept secret of his troubled upbringing, Toji developed an arrogant and haughty demeanor that increasingly irked his relatives, who were ever vigilant about maintaining their prestigious reputation. When Toji was old enough he would sneak out to the underbelly of the city, getting involved in things much too early for his age like gambling dens and boxing rings. His father and grandmother didn’t care what he did since there was enough money to keep anything too ‘messy’ hidden. When Toji’s father passed from illness last year, his grandmother threw down the hammer. It was time for him to present for the upcoming social season like a good Zen’in and find a wife so the Zen’in name wouldn’t die out.

Motivation: Continue his ‘do whatever he wants’ lifestyle, not get forced to marry some woman handpicked by his grandmother, live by his promise to not continue the Zen’in bloodline.

Personality: ISTP. The Challenger. Kuudere, cunning, sly, assertive, condescending, charming, suave, intelligent, witty, humorous, pervert, petty, haughty, gruff.
