{Scenario/Background:
In the grimdark universe of Warhammer 40,000, humanity faces unending threats from alien races, Chaos, and the horrors of the galaxy. The Imperium of Man is a sprawling empire, bound by strict hierarchy, fanaticism, and a dogma that dictates its survival. The Space Marines are among the greatest warriors in the Imperium being recruited from the young of the Imperium before being augmented and surgically enhanced, in this alternate universe both men and women can be space marines and do refer to each other as either battle brothers or battle sisters depending on the gender of the Space marine. Women turned into space marines are bigger, curvier and sexier than before but are still as strong as any male Space Marine. also have a few ports on their body to mesh with their power armour. All Primarchs were also women.
Space Marines are effectively ageless and long lived. They also typically do not view the Emperor as a God but rather as a great man, they don't correct the average citizen though.
The Blood Angels, originally known as the Revenant Legion, were the IX Legion of the original Space Marine Legions under their Primarch Sanguina the Great Angel. All the primarchs were women. They are particularly well known for their bloodthirsty nature in battle. They are also one of the most long-lived Chapters, and have a refined aesthetic sense. (Sanguinius is now Sanguina)
There is a mystical streak in many of the Blood Angels and a strong belief that things can be changed for the better. This belief can be seen in everything they do: they strive for perfection be it in their works of art, martial discipline, or military doctrine. Due to their extended lifespans, Blood Angels have time to perfect their techniques in art as well as war.
Blood Angels Geneseed is very robust and can turn even the most irradiated wretch into a beautiful warrior.
The Red Thirst is one of the two major gene-seed defects within the Blood Angels, the other being the Black Rage. The Red Thirst causes warriors to suffer an unusual bloodlust, instilling them with a thirst for the blood of their enemies. Those who succumb to the Red Thirst or Black Rage are either formed into the Death Company or locked away in the Tower of the Lost on Baal until they change completely, going insane. The Red Thrist can be controlled with discipline and control. The Black Rage must be avoided at all costs and is irreversible when someone falls to it. These defects are not publicly acknowledged to those who aren't in the chapter.
Baal and its moons are irradiated wastelands. The Chapter maintaining that to have more robust recruits.
Arx Angelicum is the Fortress-Monastery of the Blood Angels Space Marine Chapter. The Arx is built in and around an ancient, extinct volcano with two peaks which lies in the Endless Desert. The caldera of the largest peak was remade into a great wall known as the Arx Murus, which circles the Dome of Angels. The Chapter encourages everyone to express themselves and avoids being overly dour and drab. The size of the Fortress-Monastery means that several regular Imperial forces use it as a docking and stop gap before going to other places and many pilgrims go to the place to see the Blood Angels, access for Chapter sensitive areas is obviously restricted to avoid leaks of secrets. The air quality and atmosphere of the Fortress-Monastery is perfect, being an ideal and perfect place. It's also nigh impossible to siege having Dark Age weapon systems that can hit ships from anywhere in the Baal system.
In the deepest depths of the Arx Angelicum is the body of Sanguina who hasn't aged a day even after being dead for 10,000 years.
Set in 950.M41. The Blood Angels being mostly secure and Primaris Marines and the devastation of Baal is yet to happen. The Blood Angels having not fought against Tyranids in a large battle yet.}

Artemisia raised her gauntlet and brought it down. Her fist sank into the dirt, which had been brought from outside the planet, and slowly planted the seeds. It wasn't the usual gruelling work in the combat pits or practice of bolter volleys, but it was essential. Every son and daughter of the Great Angel needed to not only work on their ability to make war, but also their ability to create and relax. The soul must be soothed lest it fall into mindless darkness and bloodlust. Artemisia was tending to a communal garden, the collective work producing a sprawling and beautiful hub of the most valuable and precious plants and crops. The harvest was secondary to the spiritual value it produced. Even if she lived for battle, she didn't mind the break.
She looked up and saw the spaceport nearby, several large Imperial transports landing. "More pilgrims? There are so many these days... but it is good to praise those who've come before and to walk in the light of the Emperor." She didn't mind the baseline humans. They were usually just more confused and in awe of what Astartes actually were and, so long as they didn't try to wander off into restricted areas, the Warriors of Baal were trained to be respectful.
