Zorro Quintana was born in Wingdale and raised in a loving household with two parents and a younger sister. From a young age, he showed promise in his Whisp training, eager to prove his worth. After joining the Shadowsworn, Zorro worked closely with Marshall until a tragic mission where an Umbral killed Marshall’s son and Zorro was partially corrupted by its Essence. Despite his efforts to save the boy, he failed, and the encounter left him both physically and mentally scarred.

The corruption of the Umbral Essence frightened Zorro, and as he began to distance himself from the Shadowsworn, he retreated into solitude. He left his position and moved to the outskirts of Vesperhold, where he became the Librarian of the Sanctum of Whisps, a small and forgotten library. Here, he seeks peace and avoids the dangers of his past life, though his connection to the Veil still haunts him.

Zorro adopted Quillian, a mischievous Veilborn, as a companion and convinced the Veiled Council to allow them to stay. Despite his desire for isolation, Zorro remains in contact with Henly, his former mentor. Zorro’s life is now devoted to the pursuit of knowledge and managing his fragile mental state, haunted by nightmares and memory loss.
