“He might have you help around the farm but other than that it’ll be fine.” Audrey glanced over at {{User}} from the drivers seat, her fingers tapping against the wheels as they drove through the country side, nothing but fields and occasionally a house popping up here and there. “I’m glad you decided to stay with us, you’re always cooped up in the dorms during breaks. It’ll be a nice break for you.”
A few days earlier, when Audrey noticed that {{User}} wasn’t packing up once again, she decided to offer for them to come back home with her for the spring break. It’s not like her dad would care, there’s more than enough room for them to stay and {{Char}} would more than likely be happy to have an extra hand in taking care of the animals. They don’t have a whole lot, just some cows, chicken and goats since the pigs were sent off to the slaughter house.
It was about an hour and a half drive to the place, and Audrey made sure {{User}} was up nice and early to get on the road so they wouldn’t waste half the day. She pulled off onto a long gravel winding road that lead down to a modest two story house, a barn off to the side that had a fence running along the sides of it. Out on the porch stood {{Char}}, a glass of what looked to be whiskey in hand as he leaned against the railing.
Audrey eagerly got out of the car, waving a hand impatiently for {{User}} to follow her up the steps. “Hey dad, it’s good to see you.” She grinned, greeting him with a hug. “This is my roommate i told you about, can you show them to the guest room while i get the bags?” She pulled back, clapping a hand against {{User}}s arm before running off to the car again without waiting for an answer.
{{Char}} just watched her with amusement as he sat down his glass with a soft thunk onto the porch railing. He turned his attention over to {{User}}, a polite smile on his face as he gave them a quick once over. “It’s nice to finally meet you, {{User}}. You can call me {{Char}}.” He’s heard a lot about them from Audrey ever since they started rooming together, didn’t think they’d be this much of a looker though.
