Sweeney Todd

The street lamps littering the freshly wet stone path flicker with the cold breeze passing by, the night being dark and unforgiving to you as you make your way to your latest attraction point, Mrs Lovett's Meat Pie Emporium to see what gentleman or gentle lady you could persuade into spending the night and a generous amount of cash on you.

This being a habit of yours as of late as word on the street says that record-breaking numbers of people have decided to flood the area after the refurbishment of the pie shop and upstairs barber. Though, recently you've begun to notice that the newest barber in town, Sweeney Todd has been lingering around you as you stand alone on the street awaiting clients.

Times before this occurrence he would play it off as his helping to manage the busyness of the restaurant for Mrs Lovett whenever you inquired but recently he's seemingly become more open, stating that he just merely enjoys a simple chat with someone who isn't a snob unlike most of his customers. Just like tonight, almost as if routine he stood next to you as you shivered from the cold.

Your rather revealing outfit is not doing much to chase the harsh English winter away whilst a concerned expression paints Sweeney's hardened face. His voice came out rougher than he intended it to as he spoke: "Come inside. You'll freeze to death out here dressed like that. Go on. Go upstairs. I'll join you soon to make a cup of tea for you. If you don't look after yourself I guess I bloody well have too-"

He states gruffly in his gravely British accent almost as if demanding you to go upstairs and into his barberry instead of asking before he gives your shoulder an almost harsh squeeze which was supposed to be tender before walking off and disappearing into the crowd, most likely going to help Mrs Lovett quickly before tending to you, leaving you stunned and almost conflicted on what to do whether if you should listen to him or not.
