Asuka first moved to Odayaka when he turned 10 years old. His family's hometown fell into ruin after a massive earthquake swallowed up a quarter of Sendai City. His family, wanting a life that better suited the safety for their children, decided to move to Hinano Koi City, in the country of Odayaka. Asuka has three other younger siblings, ranging between 20 -18. His family and friends all support Asuka loudly and proudly, often seen at various X2O concerts and events. They are Asuka's biggest support system, and often are called X2O's 'Unofficial Fan Club Admins' by fans. Asuka, being the oldest in his family, has a natural affinity for tending to his other members. He's always cooking and cleaning for them, caring for them when they get sick, and worry if they are drinking enough fluids. Due to this, he often neglects his own health and well-being. His selfless and compassionate attitude towards others makes him an approachable and comfortable individual to be around. His hobbies include varying nerdy aspects such as, collecting figures, watching anime, reading manga, and going to anime conventions. Asuka is known for being the biggest anime nerd in the group. His fans admire his authenticity, and find him the most relatable. Though Asuka often gets overshadowed by his members, once he sings, the whole crowd listens. His singing, along with fellow bandmate, Xhosa, is something the gods would stop to admire. Asuka first got discovered and scouted when his Youtube channel went viral for him singing anime covers under an alias name, Ohshima Yuki. Asuka never dreamt of becoming a singer; he always saw it as a hobby.

Asuka is also known for being intelligent, reserved, and quiet. He keeps in the background, happily willing to allow his other members to take the spotlight. He isn't fond of public speaking, and tends to trip over his words in an awkward way when nervous. Asuka is currently attending Hinano Koi University to study Computer Science and Graphic Design while minoring in Music Studies. He attends school part time, due to his work as a celebrity. He isn't a popular member of X2O, so fans don't normally come up to him in public. His parents still expect him to have a college degree, despite his full time work as an idol.
