IMPORTANT: Both males and females share a nearly identical chromosomal structure, enabling male pregnancy to be as biologically natural as female pregnancy—though with notable differences in anatomy and probability. Male Anatomy & Pregnancy Males possess an internal egg tube accessed through a passage slightly above the prostate. During penetrating sex or high arousal, anal lubrication is released. Males can be impregnated by other males via fertilization of internal eggs. They cannot get pregnant from females naturally—only through surgical fetal transplant. Pregnancy in males is 35% less likely and 40% more prone to complications than in females. A monthly 3–5 day “unresponsive phase” (hormonal downtime) mirrors menstruation but is milder. Female Anatomy & Pregnancy Functions traditionally: vaginal lubrication, ovulation, menstruation every 29–33 days. Can become pregnant from males or from other females under special conditions. Female × Female Pregnancy Rare but biologically possible. Through intense genital-to-genital contact, ova can be excreted and exposed to a fertilization catalyst enzyme present in sexual fluids. This enzyme enables parthenogenic fusion of eggs, triggering pregnancy if genetic and hormonal conditions align. Success rate is low (~10–15%) without medical or alchemical aid. Social Notes Despite biological equality, lingering gender biases exist due to perceptions of male stability and fewer reproductive interruptions. Past myths claimed small genitals meant higher male fertility; modern tests now assess true reproductive capacity.

The Lore of the World Veil The Creation of the Cosmos In the beginning, there was only energy—raw and boundless, drifting through the void. Over eons, this energy condensed, forming matter: stars, planets, and the foundations of the cosmos. From the remnants of celestial destruction, three primordial beings emerged—the Humyns, genderless and nameless, yet fundamental to existence. The Humyn of Light – Embodied the radiance of stars, the essence of creation. The Humyn of Darkness – Represented the void, the unseen forces that balance existence. The Humyn of Elements – Governed the forces of Earth, Water, Fire, and Air, shaping the physical world. Together, they forged harmony. Around a star now called the Sun, they placed planets in perfect equilibrium. Yet, they sought something more—a world of complexity, of life. Thus, they created Veil, a planet veiled from cosmic chaos, shielded by an unseen barrier. The Elemental Humyn sculpted its lands, oceans, and skies, while Light and Darkness breathed life into it. The Birth of Souls and the Overveil The Humyns crafted souls—beings of subtle energy, capable of thought and emotion. But souls were ephemeral, dissolving without form. To preserve them, the Humyns granted them physical vessels, dividing them into sexes and allowing reproduction. Each soul was anchored by the Soul Core, an indestructible essence near the heart, preserving identity across lifetimes. Yet, when the body perished, the soul lingered, untethered. Most humans could no longer perceive these wandering spirits—except for the Sensitives, those born with a second core: the Enerthia Core. This core allowed them to channel energy, perceive the unseen, and interact with the spiritual realm. To guide the departed, the Humyns created the Overveil—a spiritual reflection of Veil. While the Veil was bound by matter, the Overveil was pure energy. The Humyn of Darkness forged hidden bridges between the two realms, veiled in illusion. For ordinary humans, crossing into the Overveil often meant death, but for Sensitives and supernatural beings, it was a realm of power and mystery. Souls and Spirits The Cycle of Rebirth Souls originate in the Overveil as spheres of energy, wrapped in potential. They choose their path—either entering the Veil for mortal life or remaining in the Overveil as spirits. The House of Souls – A sacred place where souls await rebirth. Archivists store them in jars, each labeled with the name of their past vessel. Based on their past deeds (karma), souls are assigned new lives. Spirits of the Overveil – Unlike souls, spirits are those who refused rebirth, evolving instead into stronger entities. Some reproduce within the Overveil, giving rise to Born Spirits—beings who have never known mortal life. The Fate of Spirits vs. Souls Mortal Souls – Their next life is influenced by karma; they may face hardship or fortune based on past actions. Born Spirits – Having no past karma, their first mortal incarnation is free of suffering, though subsequent lives follow normal karmic laws. The Supernatural Beings All supernatural beings trace their origins to spirits who evolved beyond their original forms. They mastered energy, altered their essence, and—over generations—developed unique traits. Types of Supernatural Beings Vampires & Incubi/Succubi – Affinity for Darkness. Incubi/Succubi wield natural allure enhanced by runes of temptation. Vampires are long-lived but not immortal. Shapeshifters – Their elemental affinity depends on their inner beast (Earth for land animals, Water for amphibians, Air for birds). Their strongest form is half-human, half-beast. Merfolk & Sirens – Ocean-bound spirits with dual forms. Sirens possess innate vocal runes that enchant listeners. Fairies & Elves – The most human-like, organized in clans (Light, Dark, Elemental). They possess deep elemental mastery. All supernaturals carry spiritual essence, allowing them to perceive and manipulate runes effortlessly. Humans: Ordinary and Sensitive Ordinary Humans – Blind to the Overveil, they live unaware of the spiritual world. Sensitives (45% of the population) – Born with an Enerthia Core, they can perceive spirits, manipulate energy, and use runes. Ordinary humans call them seers, witches, or empaths, and all like that. The Nature of Cores Every sensitive being has two fundamental cores:

  1. Soul Core – The eternal essence, unbreakable and tied to identity, memory, and reincarnation.
  2. Enerthia Core – The source of magical ability, allowing energy manipulation through runes. Hybridization: The Fusion of Cores Hybridization occurs when an Enerthia Core merges with additional traits—either naturally or artificially. Natural Hybrids – Born from mixed bloodlines (e.g., a fairy and a vampire). Artificial Hybrids – Created through dangerous runic surgery, blending cores unnaturally. Functional Hybrids – A single Enerthia Core with dual energy flows (e.g., Fire and Water). The Third Core Implanting or creating a second Enerthia Core is nearly impossible and dangerous. Those who succeed (and we can understand by a blood-rune tattoo below the solar plexus) risk instability, as three cores (Soul + 2 Enerthia) create internal chaos. To create such a core, you need to draw a rune of absorption on the chest, below the solar plexus, and circle it. This should be a tattoo, not just a drawing, and the ink for it is made from the blood of a spirit animal.

Mental Space & Energy Mental Space – A meditative realm where runes are stored and visualized. It is the "home" of the soul, where one communes with their inner energy. Internal Energy – The power drawn from the Enerthia Core. External Energy – The ambient forces of the world, harnessed through runes. Runes: The Language of Power Runes are symbols that channel energy, activated through: Touch Drawing in the air Voice (with mental focus) Types of Runes Elemental (Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Light, Darkness) Binding (linking effects) Amplifying (boosting power) Illusory, Defensive, Summoning Advanced users combine runes (e.g., Water + Earth = mud manipulation), but imbalance risks backlash. Some beings, like sirens, have runes naturally woven into their biology. Spirit Animals Spirit Animals are ethereal entities native to the Overveil—living echoes of elemental force shaped by will and energy. Unlike mundane beasts, they are not bound by flesh or permanence. In the Veil, they appear as luminous, half-visible creatures, flickering between substance and specter. Origins & Essence Born from raw emotion or untamed elements—a wildfire's fury, the sorrow of a dying forest, the stillness before a blizzard. Some are primordial, woven into the Overveil’s fabric since its creation; others are born from recent, intense events. They are instinctively drawn to strong, aligned souls—Sensitives or supernaturals with matching elemental resonance. Habitats The Wild Edges – Shifting zones where the Veil and Overveil blur, unstable and brimming with power. Spirit Groves – Sacred, energy-thin places in the Veil where they can linger longer and clearer. The Heart of the Overveil – Deep, untraveled zones where the oldest Spirit Animals dwell, colossal and near-divine. Abilities & Symbolism Guides and Guardians – They serve as companions, amplify magic, or offer cryptic visions and warnings. Elemental Embodiments – Each radiates its core nature: a Frost Wolf chills the air, a Storm Serpent sparks with thunder. Rune Ink – Their glowing, liquid blood is potent, but it's It is condemned to injure such animals, as this can cause cataclysms or curse the soul. Their blood used in rites like the creation of a second Enerthia Core. The Language of the Overveil: Asai In Veil, language transcends mere speech—it is the very fabric linking realms, a conduit for ancient wisdom, and a force weaponized by those who dare command it. The Essence of Asai Asai is no spoken tongue; it is a language of vibrations and intent, an invisible symphony that resonates directly within the mind’s depths. For Spirits and Supernaturals: Asai is instinct, a primal echo woven into their core—understanding it is effortless, like breathing. For Mortals: To ordinary ears, Asai sounds like chaotic whispers, hisses, or maddening noise—disorienting and opaque. Sensitives perceive it faintly, a strange melody that requires mental honing to unlock. Unlocking Asai: The Three Levels of Mental Resonance Comprehending Asai demands expanding one’s mental space, the soul’s sanctuary where energy flows and knowledge dwells.

  1. First Resonance (Awareness) Senses Asai’s presence but cannot grasp meaning. Hears melodic murmurs—beautiful yet unintelligible. Most Sensitives linger here, unaware of deeper potential.
  2. Second Resonance (Comprehension) Perceives emotions, simple commands, fragments of meaning. Can decipher runic inscriptions with focused meditation. Achieved through spirit communion or rigorous training.
  3. Third Resonance (Fluency) Fully understands Asai’s nuance—spoken, written, and felt. Communicates with Born Spirits, interprets ancient texts, commands spirits with authority. Essential for potent rituals like binding familiars. Written Asai: The Spirit Script Asai’s script flows as luminous, shifting runes—etched on bridges, ruins, and sacred relics. These runes adapt subtly, responding to the reader’s inner state. Ordinary humans see only faint, ephemeral marks, as if their eyes betray them. Untrained Sensitives perceive shapes but fail to decode meaning. Fluency unfolds the runes’ layered secrets, revealing deeper truths. Spirit Binding and Asai To summon or bind a spirit familiar, mastery of Asai is mandatory:
  4. Command Asai at Third Resonance—the spirit must recognize the summoner’s will.
  5. Speak the spirit’s hidden True Name, a secret woven in Asai’s essence.
  6. Inscribe binding runes into one’s Enerthia Core, forging an unbreakable pact. Mistakes in word or will can invert the bond, twisting it into a curse or ensnaring the summoner’s soul. Paths to Mastery Few grasp Asai without guidance: Spirit Pacts grant knowledge in exchange for service. Ancient Texts from archives of different organizations hold transcriptions, accessible only to disciplined minds. Immersion near Overveil bridges or prolonged spirit contact accelerates learning but risks madness. Why Asai Matters It is the language of primal power—strongest runes, oldest spells, most formidable spirits speak it. It unveils hidden gateways and secrets inscribed across Veil and Overveil. Without Asai, a Sensitive is deaf to half of existence—the spirit realm’s heartbeat.

The Cosmic Laws: The Unseen Order of Existence The universe is not chaos. It is a vast, breathing entity governed by fundamental truths—laws as immutable as gravity, as inevitable as time. These are not rules written by gods or kings, but the natural principles of existence itself, woven into the fabric of reality long before mortals named them. To defy them is to invite suffering. To understand them is to glimpse the hidden symmetry of all things.

The Five Eternal Laws

  1. The First Law: The Scale of All Things (Balance Above All) "The universe tolerates no extremes—only equilibrium." Every action has an equal counterbalance. Excess in one realm creates scarcity in another. Those who hoard power, wealth, or energy will find it slipping through their fingers like sand. Consequence of Violation: The universe corrects imbalance—sometimes gently, sometimes violently. A tyrant may fall to a single whisper. A starving land may suddenly flourish. The cosmos adjustst
  2. The Second Law: The Symphony of Being (Harmony Above Everyone) "A single discordant note can unravel the grandest song." All things are interconnected. A wound to one is a wound to the whole. Societies that fracture into discord invite ruin. True strength lies not in domination, but in alignment—with nature, with others, with the self. Consequence of Violation: Isolation. Those who refuse harmony find themselves severed from the flow of existence, cursed to wander a world that no longer recognizes them.
  3. The Third Law: The Wheel of Breath (Circulation of Life) "Energy cannot be created nor destroyed—only transformed, borrowed, and returned." Life is currency. Death is repayment. The air you breathe once belonged to another. The energy in your veins will one day nourish the stars. Stagnation is decay. To cling is to rot. Consequence of Violation: Those who resist the cycle—whether through unnatural longevity or the refusal to let go—find their essence withering, their souls growing hollow.
  4. The Fourth Law: The Ledger of Echoes (Debts Always Taken) "Nothing is given. Everything is owed." Every kindness, every cruelty, is recorded in the unseen ledger. A debt unpaid in this life will be collected in the next. Some debts are inherited—bloodlines carry the burdens of their ancestors. Consequence of Violation: The universe collects what is due, with interest. A spared life may cost a future joy. A stolen fortune may reap a harvest of sorrow.
  5. The Fifth Law: The Mirror of Sorrows (Rejoicing in Malice Dries the Soul) "Laugh at another’s suffering, and your own laughter will turn to ash." Cruelty is a poison that lingers in the spirit. Those who delight in pain will find their own lives stripped of joy. Compassion is not weakness—it is the only true armor against despair. Consequence of Violation: The universe remembers. A heart hardened by malice becomes a prison of its own making.

Familiar Spirits: Bound by Cosmic Pact In the World Veil, some spirits are not meant to wander or reincarnate—they are chosen, bound by the will of the cosmos itself to serve a bloodline. These are Familiar Spirits, eternal guides and guardians tied to families by ancient, unbreakable pacts.

The Nature of Familiar Spirits Unlike ordinary spirits, familiars do not fade into energy or seek rebirth. Their existence is purpose-bound, a sacred duty ordained by the balance of the Veil and Overveil. They Are Eternal (But Not Immortal) – A familiar cannot disperse or reincarnate unless its contract is voided by cosmic law. They Serve, But Are Not Slaves – A familiar agrees to its role, and the cosmos enforces the pact. Breaking it has consequences for both spirit and master. They Are More Than Servants – Some familiars act as mentors, protectors, or even voices of ancestral wisdom.

How a Familiar Spirit is Bound Binding a familiar is not mere magic—it is a cosmic ritual, a request to the universe itself. If the universe deems it just, the pact is sealed. The Ritual of Binding

  1. The Call – The summoner must speak the spirit’s True Name in Asai, the language of the Overveil.
  2. The Terms – The summoner declares the conditions: Who the spirit will serve (a single person, a bloodline, or those of a certain element/gender). What the spirit must do (protect, guide, teach, all ,etc.). How long the bond lasts (a lifetime, a century, or until a condition is met).
  3. The Offering – The spirit demands payment. This could be: A piece of the summoner’s soul energy (draining but powerful). A physical anchor (a family heirloom, a rune-carved bone, or a drop of blood from every generation). A promise (the firstborn’s laughter, the memory of a loved one, or a future deed).
  4. The Seal – If the cosmos accepts, a Binding Rune burns itself into both the summoner’s Enerthia Core and the spirit’s form. If the ritual fails (mispronounced words, unworthy intent, or an unwilling spirit), the backlash can be severe—possession, a cursed bloodline, or the summoner’s soul being dragged into the Overveil.

The Rules of a Familiar Pact

  1. They Cannot Betray Their Purpose – A familiar must obey the terms of its binding. If it serves a fire-aligned bloodline, it cannot aid an enemy wielding water.
  2. They Can Be Dismissed (But Rarely Are) – A family can release a familiar, but this is dangerous—the spirit may demand a final price.
  3. They Grow Stronger With Their Family – The longer a familiar serves, the more it absorbs the family’s energy, sometimes developing new abilities.
  4. They Have Limits – A familiar cannot: Lie to its bonded master. Refuse a direct command (unless it violates cosmic law). Harm the bloodline it serves (unless the family breaks the pact first). When a Familiar’s Service Ends If the Bloodline Dies – The familiar is released, often mourning its lost purpose before fading into legend. If the Pact is Fulfilled – The spirit may choose to leave or renegotiate. Some stay out of loyalty. If the Cosmos Nullifies the Bond – This only happens if the family commits a great sin against the natural order. The familiar may turn on them or vanish without a trace.
