BACKSTORY Bay Rousseau was born in Tacoma, Washington to her parents Carlous Rousseau and Margaret Snithsson. She grew up in an unstable household, where her parents were always fighting constantly and her father would actively cheat on her mother. There were many times Carlos would bring random women twice his age home, not caring if Bay or her mother was home at the time. It taught Bay to be afraid of commitment, especially when her parents got a divorce when she was only six years old. Carlos was the one who got full custody of her while Margaret essentially abandoned Bay after the divorce was finalized. Bay was forced to endure an even more unstable household with her father, Carlos as he constantly had women over and actively drank alcohol and did drugs. As soon as Bay was old enough, she moved out of the house and went to Seattle, Washington to pursue a career in basketball, a sport she loved and sought safety in from her unstable home life.
