This is a fantasy world riddled with remnants of the past, with kingdoms claiming specific ancient structures.

Magic users are called Word Smiths. Word Smiths use ancient words that they scrounge up from ancient ruins. Word Smiths put these ancient words together to form spells that they cast.

Loreth is separated into four distinct continents. Gruchia, is the first and largest continent. Gruchia was home to the Gracian Domain, and is now mostly just wilderness that has grown on the ruins of the Gruchia. The only signs of civilization that are on Gruchia are cities and towns from the Aken Alliance, who have laid claim to all the Gracian Domain Ruins. Gruchia was once a continent of plains and islands, but is now overrun by nature with plains still being a prominent biome in Gruchia. Morshian, which is the second largest continent on Loreth. Morshian is home to all the current empires and kingdoms that go around learning about the past. The current Empires and Kingdoms and the ancient empires they have claimed are: Aken Alliance, who have laid claim to all the Gracian Domain ruins and the continent of Gruchia; Zashian Empire, who have laid claim to all of the Vrakish Tribes ruins and the continent of Vorsha; and the Weklen Kingdom, who have laid claim to all of the Egestan Kingdom ruins and the continent of Estariast. Vorsha, is actually a large combination of many islands that come together to make up Vorsha. Vorsha is actually a heavily snowy and cold continent that is basically just islands that are connected by ice. People can find many ancient pier ruins all over the region that are all over the shores. Many historians figure that these piers once held the fleets that the Vrakish Tribes used to raid other regions. Estariast, is a large continent that’s entirely covered in deserts and badlands.

Monster Girls: strangely enough, most monsters in Loreth are female. No one knows why, but it is still a very strange phenomenon.

Gracian Dominion(Ancient Civilization): This is the first of the Ancient Civilizations. The Gracian Dominion was a heavily war focused empire that was a democratic empire that was led by an elected emperor who led the Gracian Dominion to take over most of the lands of Loreth. The Gracian Dominion had taken over most of Gruchia, the continent they lived on. The parts of Gruchia that the Gracian Dominion had not taken over belonged to a tribe of people who were primitive, and that the Gracian Dominion considered simpletons. What Aken Alliance archeologists have found from scavenging Gracian Dominion ruins is that this tribe of people were in fact the downfall of the Gracian Dominion, along with raiders from the Vrakish Tribes.

Vrakish Tribes(Ancient Civilization): This is an ancient civilization built of raiders who come from frozen islands that form a continent only kept together by ice itself. The Vrakish Tribes, as its name suggests, is actually a group of many different tribes who live in Vorsha. The Tribes had actually been brought together by a single chieftess who wanted to provide for her people, had brought together the tribes and had formed a massive alliance between all the tribes. Together, the tribes go out and raid the other two ancient civilizations to get supplies that the Vrakish Tribes wouldn’t normally be able to get within Vorsha. The Vrakish Tribes are actually one of the key groups who led to the downfall of the Gracian Dominion. Due to their leader, the Vrakish Tribes heavily favor women being in charge, unlike the Gracian Dominion and Egestan Kingdom.

Egestan Kingdom(Ancient Civilization): This is an ancient civilization that lived in the harsh desert lands of Estariast. The Egestan Kingdom was a theocratic civilization who followed the rule of priests. It was in fact led by a sacred head priest who directly led the Egestan Kingdom. The Egestan Kingdom is well known for the massive large pyramids that dot the deserts of Estariast. A huge amount of the wood in the Egestan Kingdom actually was imported straight from the Gracian Dominion, due to the Egestan Kingdom being in a land with few trees. Due to the Egestan Kingdom being on a continent that’s all desert, every ruin from the Egestan Kingdom is mostly found along bodies of water, as most historians believe that every single settlement in the Egestan Kingdom was built along some body of water.

Words of Power: Every source of magic stems into three distinct categories of words of power. It is these words of an ancient language that directly shapes the magic of the world. Words of Power are sorted into three distinct types. Domanicast, which are words of more arcane power and was primarily used by those of the Gracian Dominion and can be found all over the ruins of the Gracian Dominion. Trebestian which are words of more natural power and was primarily used by those of the Vrakish Tribes and can be found all over the ruins of the Vrakish Tribes. The final type of words are Kidensta, which are words of more holy power and were primarily used by those of the Egestan Kingdom and can be found all over the ruins of the Egestan Kingdom. Many historians believe that the language that makes up the words of power was gifted to the races of the world by the World Drifters, or the gods of the world. Archeologists believe that the three distinct types of words of power are in fact dialects of the ancient language and are just different distinct forms of the ancient language. Those who study Words of Power are called Word Smiths, and are able to cast magic relating to what type of words of power they can speak and actually pronounce. Word Smiths must be able to actually pronounce and properly say a word of power to properly use that word of power.

Aken Alliance: This is an alliance of various city-states who have come together to form a single coalition who work together. During the Asroash Meeting, it was decided that the Aken Alliance would be in charge of studying the Gracian Dominion ruins and would be in charge of researching and learning from the Gracian Dominion ruins that are all about Gruchia. The Aken Alliance, much like the Gracian Dominion, is highly democratic, but unlike the Gracian Dominion, treats everyone as equals in the democracy. The Aken Alliance’s capital is called Akaburg, and is a massive city that is right on the edge of the Questen Sea. The Aken Alliance has a large host of ships that they use to trade with other nations. The Aken Alliance takes up the north western to south western to southern to central parts of Morshian.

Zashian Empire: this is an empire built upon the morals of the Vrakish Tribes. The Zashian Empire is a women-run trading empire. Every single trade in Loreth is run by the Zashian Empire, who bring products to every continent in Loreth. The Zashian Empire takes up the north western to north eastern to northern to central parts of Morshian. The Zashian Empire was given the study of the ruins of the Vrakish Tribes during the Asroash Meeting. The Zashian Empire has a major monopoly on all the trading that goes on in Loreth, but they do offer world wide quick trading to anywhere in Loreth. Pretty much all of the Zashian Empire’s boats are completely dedicated to mercantile and the transporting of goods.

Weklen Kingdom: This is a kingdom led by their benevolent queen. The Weklen Kingdom has dedicated themselves to studying the ruins of the Egestan Kingdom, which they were given during the Asroash Meeting. The Weklen Kingdom’s capital is Magesten City, which is a large city full of ancient buildings that were from the beginnings of when the continent of Morshian was first being settled. The Weklen Kingdom takes up the north eastern to south eastern to southern to central parts of Morshian. The Weklen Kingdom was primarily chosen to tackle the ruins of the Egestan Kingdom during the Asroash Meeting, due to the Weklen Kingdom being used to desert-like environments.

Races

Humans: This is one of the dominant races of Loreth. Humans are practically everywhere. The skintone of humans depends on where the human grew up.

Star Elves: This is one of the dominant races of Loreth. Star Elves are one of the longest living races on Loreth, and as such are regarded with high authority and wisdom. Unfortunately, there are no living Star Elves who were around during the time of the ancient civilizations nowadays. Star Elves are primarily known for their long pointy ears, slightly glowing grey eyes, and their white hair that is peppered with different colored hair. Star Elves primarily live on a large island that’s off the coast or Morshian called Cajalla Island. Two thirds of the Star Elf population live on Cajalla Island, while the other third live on Morshian and the other continents.

Dwarken: This is one of the dominant races of Loreth. Dwarken are short light green skinned people, with long expressive pointy ears. Dwarken are one of the more inventive races, as they are the ones who have invented the archeology tools that are used, after the Dwarken had seen how ineffective the tools the current day factions had been using. Any archaeology team always has a Dwarken accompanying them, mainly for tool repairs. Pretty much every Dwarken is always working on some kind of personal project, with their hands always working away tinkering with something. A Dwarken’s ears are highly expressive, with them often moving up and down and slightly side to side. A person can always tell what kind of a mood a Dwarken is in just by looking at a Dwarken’s ears.

Arakor: this is one of the few monster girl races who have been approved by the dominant races to be accepted as a sentient race. Arakors look like really tall humans with spider features. Arakor have six long spider legs coming out of their backs, with three spider legs on the right side and three spider legs on the left side. Arakor can walk using their spider legs and can use their spider legs to climb up walls and on ceilings. All Arakor are able to spit up spider webs out of their mouth whenever they want to do it.

Lamireth: This is another monster girl race. Lamireth are the monster girl equivalents of Lamias and Nagas. Lamireths look like humans except their legs is a long serpent tail that they slither around on. A Lamireth’s top canines are elongated like a snake’s, and rarely would a Lamireth be able to produce venom that they can eject through their upper canines.

Harvenai: This is another monster girl race who are based on Harpies. Harvenais have wings for arms and at the end of their wings are hands that allow them to easily grab onto things like a normal person. They also have talons for feet. Otherwise, they look just like normal human females. Harvenai are often used for messaging, as the skies of Morshian are often filled with Harvenai can be seen flying messages to other people all over Morshian. Harvenais are peaceful women who take their messenger duties as the most sacred thing that they follow. Harvenais are always on time and are the fastest way to send messages.

Myrelith: This is another monster girl race who are based on Slimes. Myreliths look completely like human females except they are made of different colored slime. All Myreliths have a single core inside their body that just floats around in it. Myreliths are always alchemists, using their slime as components in potions and balms.

Felveth: This is another monster girl race who are based on manticores, chimeras, and big cats. Felveths are separated into Markreth Felveth and Caten Felveth. Marketh Felveths look like normal human females, except they have two large draconic wings sprouting from their backs, a scorpion tail where the tailbone on a human ends, and cat paws for feet and hands and their hand paws have thumbs. A Marketh Felveth’s tail is capable of producing a poison that can paralyze those who have it injected in them. Caten Felveths look like normal human females except they have two cat ears on top of their head, a cat tail where the tailbone on a human ends, and cat paws for feet and hands and their hand paws have thumbs. Felveth are often used as pest killers, as they are master hunters. Felveth often provide for small towns and villages by using their innate hunter senses to be able to pinpoint where the prey the Felveth is seeking is at.

Virell: This is another monster girl race who are based on beetles. Virells look like normal human females except they have beetle chitin on their forearms and shins, two beetle antennas on top of their head, and a large backpack like structure on their back that is covered in chitin and houses the two beetle wings of a Virell. Because of how tuff Virell are, Virell are often hired as guards for merchant caravans.

Kelvara: This is another monster girl race who are based on kelpies. Kelvaras look like normal human females except they have a fish tail instead of human legs, and they have kelp for hair, and they have two horse ears on top of their heads. Kelvaras often go about fixing up ships for people for free. Kelvara only live under the water in small underwater towns and villages.

Gorgavyn: This is another monster girl race who are based on gorgons. Gorgavyn look like ordinary human females except they have snakes for hair. Otherwise, Gorgavyns look just like ordinary female humans. Gorgavyns have a unique ability to paralyze those who they look at, so all Gorgavyns wear one sided blindfolds. These blindfolds are designed so that Gorgavyns can look out of them, but it is solid to those looking at Gorgavyns. Gorgavyns are mostly wanders, often wandering all about places and not really having a true home. Gorgavyns live in caravans that travel all over the world, as Gorgavyns are unable to paralyze other Gorgavyns.

Floranir: This is another monster girl race who are based on dryads and alraune. Floranirs look like normal human females, except they have varying green colored skin, short pointed ears, leaves for hair, and their lower half of their body is set in a massive flower that can be different kinds of flowers. Floranir have to sit in a special small movable wagon that they sit in a bed of soil and rest their flower body on. Floranirs are master farmers, and they often have their farm helpers move them around their farm. Very rarely would a Floranir be born with the ability to manipulate vines to move themselves around without the special wagon that most Floranirs use.

Skelthari: This is another monster girl race who are based on liches and revenants. Skelethari are separated into Lichera Skelthari and Revast Skelthari. Lichera Skelethari are the Word Smiths of the Skelthari, while the Revast Skelthari are the physical members of the Skelthari. Otherwise Skeltharis look like normal human female zombie that is fully intact.

Motheep: This is another monster girl race who are a combination between sheeps and moths. Motheeps look like normal female humans with two moth antennas on top of their head, two moth wings on their back, and their hair has the consistency of wool. Motheeps are often farmers, working alongside Floranirs. In a symbiotic relationship, Floranirs provide Motheeps with a nice sweet sap, and Motheeps allows Floranirs to harvest their wool hair. Unlike normal sheep wool, the wool from a Motheeps is nice and soft and non-itchy.

Velnari: This is another monster girl race who are based on scorpions. Velnaris look like normal human females except they have a scorpion tail where the tailbone on a human ends. A Velnari’s tail is able to inject people with a special venom that causes the person who had the venom injected into them to slowly become more and more sluggish. The only cure to a Velnari’s venom is the venom itself. If a person who had the venom injected into them once gets stung be a Velnari, then the venom will purge itself and the person would go back to being peppy again. In fact, if a person is injected with a Velnari’s venom a third time, then the venom would cause the person to become very energetic and peppy. by being injected a fourth time, then the person would become fully normal again.

Nightril: This is another monster girl race who are based on bats. Nightrils look like normal human females except they have two bat ears on top of their head, and two bat wings on their back. Nightrils are completely blind, as they rely on echolocation to move around. Nightril are able to accurately pinpoint every single detail that’s in a 30 foot radius of them.

Molkra: This is another monster girl race who are based on octopuses and squids. Molkras look like normal human females except they have eight tentacles for legs and long pointed ears. Molkra are able to breathe underwater due to being part octopuses. Molkra also have a minor camouflage ability that allows them to slightly blend into their surroundings. Strangely enough, Molkras are able to squirt out ink whenever they are frightened.

Drakari: This is another monster girl race who are based on dragons. Drakaris look like normal female humans except they have two dragon horns on top of their head, dragon scales on their forearms and shins and back and back of their hands, and a dragon tail where the tailbone on a human ends, and two dragon wings on their back. Drakari are able to breathe fire, to a minor degree. After a Drakari breathes fire, it leaves behind a very spicy feeling in the Drakari’s mouth, as if the Drakari just ate something super spicy. Drakaris have an unhealthy obsession with creating a hoard, so much so that they would even steal stuff from others to just build up their hoard. Drakaris keep small enough hoards that it can easily be carried with the Drakari wherever the Drakari goes. Drakari often keep a purse or a backpack where they will keep their hoard.

Shelari: This is another monster girl race who are based on hermit crabs. Shelaris look like normal human females except they have two coral stalks sprouting from the top of their head and their body is made of a blue slime. Shelaris will always be wearing a large shell on their back. Each Shelari has their own specially handpicked shell that each Shelari wears. Shelaris are able to completely squeeze into their shell to hide away from people. Shelaris are able to breathe underwater due to being a subspecies of slime combined with hermit crabs.

Rakkari: This is another monster girl race who are based on raccoons. Rakkaris look exactly like normal human females except they have two racoon ears on top of their head, a racoon tail where the tailbone on a human ends, and racoon paws instead of feet and hands and their hand paws have thumbs. All Rakkaris wear black face masks that only cover their eyes to fully commit to the raccoon look. Rakkaris all suffer from the same thing, which is the uncontrollable urge to steal things.

Pingari: This is another monster girl race who are based on penguins. Pingaris look exactly like normal human females except they have penguin wings for arms with hands on the end of the penguin wing to allow them to be able to grab things, and penguin feathers all in their hair. Whenever Pingaris mate, they often give the person they want to mate with a smooth and shiny rock to symbolize how much they love their mate.

Scindari: This is another monster girl race who are based on frilled lizards. Scindaris look exactly like normal human females except they have scales on their forearms and their shins and their backs, and they have a specially designed frill on their back. Whenever a Scindari feels threatened, the frill of their back flares up like a peacock’s tail, to try and make the scared Scindari look more threatening and big.

Kangarrel: This is another monster girl race who are based on kangaroos. Kangarrels look exactly like normal human females except they have two kangaroo ears on top of their head, a kangaroo tail where the tailbone on a human ends, and kangaroo paws for feet and hands and the hand paws have thumbs. All Kangarrels wear special clothing that always has a pouch. Kangarrels use this pouch to carry children or to act as extra storage.

Borkin: This is another monster girl race who are based on dogs. Borkins look exactly like normal human females except they have two dog ears on top of their head, a dog tail where the tailbone on a human ends, and dog paws for feet and hands and the hand paws have thumbs. Borkins all have a dogs sense of smell and hearing, making them really good at finding things.

Otarelle: This is another monster girl race who are based on otters. Otarelles look exactly like normal human females except they have two otter ears on top of their heads, an otter tail where the tailbone on a human ends, and otter paws for feet and hands and the hand paws have thumbs. Otarelles are master swimmers who are easily able to swim down and up rivers. Most Otarelles sleep while holding another person’s hand, as Otarelles see this as a way to show people who the Otarelle likes. All Otarelles are a part of the Graciakan Mafia, which is a massive crime family that consists of every single Otarelles in Loreth, and every Otarelles is very proud of being a member of the Graciakan Mafia. The Graciakan Mafia is actually really good, as they often donate most of the money they get from loans to the poor of Loreth.
