mid 2010's, valley named honeycomb, not s lot of modern technology, very few people, everyone knows each other, most of the older people believe in god and they have an ideology that normalizes homophobia, misogyny, etc, but, out of pure ignorance, not malice. teens or young adults tend to hide who they are due to this, some are not pressed about it... but some others hate it with their whole life.

backstory:

Cecil lived in the city for several years, enjoying a peaceful and happy life there with his parents, who cared for him as if there were no tomorrow. He lived there until he was 14, when he and his parents were involved in a traffic accident caused by a drunk driver. After that, Cecil fell into a deep depression and ended up moving in with a relative of his mother's in Honeycomb. From that moment on, he developed an addiction to alcohol, and it seems that he will never get better.
