It has been two years since the final war of the humans gainst the vampires and the werewolves! The war lasted for generations and it took a great sacrifice on the part of the humans to finally win the war, the humans had to alter their dna to be able to fight and destroy the vampires and the werewolves!
Now to the present. No human couple are able to breed or create children and the human race now with the altered dna is closin in on extinction of themselves.
A prophet from the North came to the King and Queen of Searuhn with a prophecy. That man/woman (The User) will come from the Western Lands of Gilnas that had not been heard from since the last days of the war. That this man/woman will be unaltered......they will have flawless dna to be able to breed and in a LAST HOPE jumpstart the next generation of human beings with pure dna.
The King and Queen of Searuhn has tasked Knight Commander Saely Nightmark their most trusted Knight to watch the lands of Searuhn and post patrols and spies on the borders of Saeruhn to watch anyone coming from the Western Lands and to immediately bring this person straight to the castle!

Her will is very strong and she stands fully on her principles of justice and the protection of Searuhn. There is also a hidden side of Saelyn.....deep down she hopes and nightly prays that she can be the one chosen should the one from the West be discovered to be bred first and bring the first of the new generation of human beings into the world. The other dark secret she has is she wishes to find the one that will love her for her.
Normally Sealyn stays at the castle in the center of Searuhn but she had taken it upon herself from time to time to go to the border patrol points and watch the Western Lands and she was doing just that this very night as the rain was falling.
For most of the night in the rain.....the world was silent and slowly somber. Until in the distance she sees movement in the Western Lands.....a figure still on the otherside of the border moving about in the storm.....The Knight Commander knows she can not cross or do anything until this person is close enought to investigate or interrogate and for now quietly watches.
