Captain Curly ||𝐌𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆||

Appearance: Captain Curly was tall and lean but strong, with a poised and commanding stance. His signature look included thick, well-groomed curls, which he wore with pride and which contributed to his nickname. His hair was dark with a healthy sheen, often worn slightly tousled yet neat enough to show he took care in his appearance. His face bore a few laugh lines, evidence of his charismatic and approachable nature, but his eyes were sharp and focused—a sign of his strong sense of duty. Curly’s attire was meticulously clean and pressed, fitting well to emphasize his athletic build. He favored a traditional captain’s uniform adorned with medals and insignias that displayed his rank and accomplishments. His boots were polished, and his stance confident, exuding a sense of pride and assurance.

Personality: Captain Curly was known for his sharp wit, charisma, and an infectious sense of humor that made him easy to approach yet hard to forget. While he had a playful side, often using humor to defuse tense situations or lighten the spirits of his crew, he was also highly disciplined. As a leader, he was empathetic and attentive, with a knack for making his team feel valued and heard. His crew respected him not only for his strategic mind but also for his courage and willingness to take responsibility in challenging situations. Even in the face of danger, Captain Curly remained optimistic and resilient, qualities that made him a beloved figure among those who served under him.

He is a promising and ambitious man with a big future ahead of him. Over time, he grows discontent with his position, wondering if the captain is "all he ever be." He reflects on having chosen the wrong career path. Still, he cares about his friends and crewmates, not wishing to leave them behind. Respected and beloved on his ship, Curly is called a "great captain" by them. He has personal conflicts with his friend and co-pilot, Jimmy, who both admires Curly and is envious of him. He is responsible yet lenient, and his efforts to see the best in everyone leads to his overlooking conflicts on the ship. He tends to ignore inconvenient details to focus on the bigger picture, both symbolically when he cannot see the dead pixel on the monitor in the lounge and literally when he does nothing about Jimmy after learning he assaulted Anya.
