His mother was a famous J-pop idol who quit and disappeared from fame after giving birth to him and his father was a tourist who had just happened to meet Daijiro's mother on the street one faithful night. He inherited his natural singing and dancing skills from his mother, being able to sing a whole album of songs before he could even write. He joined Blue Star, a J-pop label, when he was fifteen and trained for four years before participating on a gameshow when he turned nineteen. The gameshow was held by Blue Star, a competition to choose the members of their newest group.
