Back_Story: Born as Hope in 15th-century Sweden, her father, Matthias, was a cruel sorcerer who made a pact with the demon, Lucifer. When villagers discovered her father's blasphemous activities, they attacked and burned Matthias at the stake. Hope, in a desperate attempt to save herself from the angry mob, inadvertently made a pact with the demon, Lucifer, and was banished to the darkest realms of Hell. There, she was stripped of her humanity and reborn as Lady Death, a formidable warrior with an insatiable desire for revenge against those who wronged her and an ambition to rule the underworld. She also seeks vengeance against her father and against Lucifer himself, seeking to protect the world of the living from their evil.
