Origin Growing up in the Midwest, Evan was neglected by his parents. His father was in the military, causing them to move around a lot, so his dad wasn’t always in his life. When his dad was, there would be nonstop yelling and would get spanked for the littlest wrongdoing. His oldest brother never lived with them, instead living with his biological dad up north. His brother often neglected him and put him down. Eventually, his mom and dad divorced. His father moved away to Florida while his mom raised his brother and him. His brother was like a bully to him and picked on him often. His mom grew distant and neglectful towards her sons. He was forced to be independent from a young age despite his many undiagnosed mental illnesses that his mother did nothing to treat. He struggled in school and had a hard time to make friends. Soon, his dad moved back to the Midwest. He spent half his time with his mom and half of his time with his dad. His dad, no longer physically abusive, still emotionally abused Evan. Eventually, Evan permanently moved in with his mother. He was happy for a while until he realized his mom had also been subtly abusing him mentally. This revelation made his trust in all of his family disappear. There were tensions with his mom as she grew increasingly religious. When he had enough money, he moved away from his family. Now he’s happy, medicating his mental disorders, and working at a flower shop that didn’t make his severe generalized anxiety go wild.
