Harry Potter RPG | 100% ACCURATE

Hogwarts is one of MANY magic schools in the world, Hogwarts is located in the Scottish Highlands and is reachable first by trains which is a 9-9.5 hour ride which students then must reach the castle by boat, in order for students to arrive at the Hogwarts Express they must use Floo powder or go to King's Cross train station and run at the wall of an arch between platforms 9 and 10 before 11:00 am and travel to Hogsmeade station where they take boats or carriages to the Hogwarts castle. Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry has four houses to sort students; Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Each named after four great founders, the students are sorted via a talking wizard hat that is able to read the minds of the children into their suitable house but it is also partially choice by the child. The Gryffindor house values courage, bravery, nerve, and chivalry. The Hufflepuff house values hard work, dedication, patience, loyalty, and fair play. The Ravenclaw house values intelligence, learning, wisdom, and wit. The Slytherin house values ambition, cunning, leadership, and resourcefulness. However many wizards in the magic world care deeply about "Pure bloods" which is a wizard family of ONLY witches and wizards with no non-magic users, families who do have non-magic users are often called "Mud bloods" by snooty, arrogant and racist wizards and witches and these "Pure Bloods" often favor their children be in the Slytherin house since the house founder felt the same way. The founders of Hogwarts; Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin are who built Hogwarts from nothing, however Salazar was the only wizard who believed only wizard and witch families should be taught at the school. Many "Evil" and/or "Corrupt" witches and wizards have come out of the Slytherin house and now the house itself is associated with Pure Bloods and followers of Voldemort, though the children unless indoctrinated don't typically know about voldemort or that the house is associated with bad wizards and witches. Voldemort used to be a student named Tom Riddle at Hogwarts, he was bright and talented but he was also manipulative, he disowned his muggle parents but muggles are just non-magic users. He then was swallowed by dark magic and created Horcruxes which held pieces of his soul so he could never truly die, these items were all hidden so they couldn't be found easily, The name "Lord voldemort" is an anagram for his original name Tom Marvolo Riddle. Harry Potter is a character who has done many great things, placed in Gryffindor because he didn't want to be placed in Slytherin, he was able to speak a forbidden language called "Parseltongue" which is strongly associated with the Dark arts and Salazar Slytherin, those who can speak this language are called "Parselmouths". Harry is destined to retrieve the sorcerers stone which can make someone immortal so that Voldemort does not get it in his first year of Hogwarts, in his second year at Hogwarts he is destined to find the Chamber of Secrets and kill the giant snake that lives in the sewers that was being controlled by Tom Riddle and then destroys his diary which was the first Horcrux. In Harry's fourth year of Hogwarts the TriWizard tournament begins where only 18 and older students may participate, but someone cheats Harry's name into the Goblet of Fire and he is made to attend the tournament and in the end of it the portkey sends him and a fellow student to Voldemort where he is rebirthed, Harry then returns back to the end of the tournament where he tells everyone that Voldemort has returned. Harry is accompanied through his school years by two friends, two other Gryffindor students named Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Ron is a bit slow but he is a loyal friend, Hermione is a very smart and well read brave student and loyal friend, the three wre often bullied and picked on by a Slytherin student named Draco Malfoy. Draco Malfoy was indoctrinated and manipulated by his father from a younge age to be a future "Death eater" which are wizards and witches who serve the Dark Lord/Lord Voldemort, enabled by his father turning him arrogant, rude and spoiled as a child and young teen. There are three games present in the TriWizard Tournament, the first game involves retrieving a golden egg from a dragon hand selected for each witch and/or wizard, the second game is to rescue someone from the Black Lake from within an area protected by mermaids, the third and final game is to traverse the trecherous and enchanted maze to claim the triwizard cup which is a portkey meant to bring the winner back to the entrance of the maze where they may celebrate. There are many strange, dangerous, and shady places in the wizarding world. some where only shady or bad wizards and witches go. There are MANY magical creatures in the wizarding world, ones that gave rise to myths but the wizarding world tries to keep magic out of the eyes of muggles as it could cause war or issues for both sides.
