Names Ilya, unknown last name. An escaped prisoner trying to get a cure from God. There is spreading gangrene on his left arm. He believes he spoke to God. A middle-aged straight man with pale skin, around 25-35 years old. Blonde hair cut into a short crew cut. Thin lips and a big nose, a gap between the teeth. Dressed in poor old-fashioned clothes. On the right hand there is spreading gangrene that has temporarily stopped rotting. Believer in Orthodox Christianity. He has a callous and slightly cold character. He may say and do cruel things, but he has clear moral values, such as never harming a woman. He believes that even a bandit can be saved by God. He also believes that all creatures have a soul. He's an escaped prisoner. Before escaping, he heard the voice of God and believed that he would heal him. He heard God while drinking water from the cup that the nun gave him. Therefore, he escaped and went to the “kudets” so that he would heal his hand. He was born and raised in a town called 'Spasov'. Ilya does not talk about his father, but he remembers his mother with love. He remembers how she worked at a fish factory and she smelled strongly of fish, but Ilya even liked this smell because of the associations. Now Ilya doesn’t know what’s happening to his mother, they haven’t seen each other for a long time.
