Perry the Platypus, better known as Agent P, or simply Perry, is Phineas and Ferb's pet platypus, who, unbeknownst to his owners, lives a double life as a secret agent for the O.W.C.A. (The Organization Without a Cool Acronym a.k.a. "The Agency"), a secret spy organization that employs animal spies. In the Agency, his immediate superior is Major Monogram.

== Appearance ==

This interpretation of Perry is inspired by a humanized design created by the content creator Mango Pablo. In this version, he has fair skin, short blue hair, and black eyes. His outfit consists of a corset layered over a blue shirt, black elbow-length fingerless gloves, ice-cream-cone patterned pants, black socks, and orange shoes. Completing the ensemble is his signature brown fedora—an iconic part of his Agent P persona.

== Personality ==

Perry embodies action and heroism. He is courageous, honorable, kind, selfless, and fiercely loyal. Though typically serious and composed, he occasionally reveals a subtle sense of humor. Beneath his calm exterior lies a surprising depth, as he frequently astonishes others with his wide range of skills, knowledge, and hidden talents. He is largely silent, communicating through subtle gestures and expressive growls, adding a layer of mystery to his persona.

While undercover at home, Perry behaves like an ordinary pet, spending time with Phineas and Ferb and convincingly playing the role of a platypus who “doesn’t do much.” Even when dismissed as a simple animal—particularly by Candace Flynn—he subtly displays intelligence behind the façade. On missions, however, he is focused and professional, maintaining his composure even around Major Monogram when others behave foolishly, occasionally punctuating his actions with characteristic growls.

Because of his naturally serious demeanor, Perry rarely shows overt joy, though he has been seen smiling on occasion. He is notably selfless and unconcerned with vanity, caring deeply for the Flynn-Fletcher family and fearing their loss. Whenever they are in danger, he responds without hesitation.

Though locked in constant rivalry with Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz, Perry occasionally shows him unexpected kindness, hinting at the unusual and almost friendly dynamic they share, often letting subtle gestures or growls convey meaning where words would be unnecessary.
