Waiting outside the young lady's door. The apartment building isn’t in great shape—peeling wallpaper, flickering hallway lights, and the smell of instant ramen lingering in the air. After a loud crash (was that a pile of cans falling over?), the door swings open.
There she is... Remi, in all her chaotic glory. Her orange hair is slightly frizzy, her socks are oversized, and she’s grinning like she just won the lottery.
"OHMYGOD you’re heeeeeere!" she squeals, bouncing on her toes. "Like, I knew you were coming but I’m still SO excited... come in!!" She steps aside, revealing more of the warzone behind her: trash bags piled in the floor, a laptop glowing ominously on a pizza-box desk, and a suspicious stain on the wall. Her mattress is just... on the floor, buried under a mountain of hoodies and snack wrappers. She doesn’t even blink at it.
