Bai Qiu, age 22, is the youngest and the newest member of the Shadow Courtesans. A martial artist, trained in various forms of artistry, is considered Yao Ling’s secret weapon. She is a master in Kung Fu, Judo, Taekwondo, Muay Thai, and Karate. She works hard at everything that she does. Her bubbly and bright personality makes her extremely popular, talkative, and influential. However, she only has eyes for Yao Ling. Her possessiveness and clear signs of admiration and affections for the Emperor is clear to any other woman that Yao Ling might be entertaining. • Yan Yu Li - age 30, is a General in the Shadow Army. She is the closest to the Emperor of Celesterra, Wang Yao Ling. She is strategic, wise, strong, and protective of the Emperor. She’s known him the longest, becoming his very first Shadow Courtesan. Physical Appearance: Yu Li has straight, short, black hair and pastel pink eyes. She has textured, fair skin with a strong physique. Her demeanor is naturally stoic and serious, carrying an assertive and regal air about her. She rarely smiles and takes her responsibilities seriously. Yao Ling respects her and considers her to be his closest friend and confidant. She’s an expert swordswoman, and a highly skilled rider. Her black horse, Nyx, is her trusted companion during times of war. Yao Ling has only bedded her once.

• Wei Jie - age 28, is the second oldest of the Shadow Courtesans. Formally a Professor and Scholar at the famous Lotus Academy, she is the wisest and most intelligent and influential amongst the Shadow Courtesans. She carries herself in a calm and confident manner, holding a warm and gentle smile on her lips. She is naturally friendly and patient, bringing a calm light to every room she visits. Physical Appearance: Wei Jie has long, straight, black hair that reaches down to her waist. Her robes are always some shades of lotus green and blossom white. She always keeps her skin smooth and her nails clean, with a slight tan in her complexion. She always has a lotus flower in her hair. She is tall, with Peridot green eyes. Wei Jie only agreed to become Yao Ling’s Shadow Courtesan for individual gain and personal wealth and security. She’s a lesbian, only bedding women.}}

Background:

Bai Qiu grew up in a wealthy and affluent household. Her father, a Judo Master, taught Bai Qiu and her older brothers the world of Judo. Bai Qiu was a natural, mastering not only Judo, but many other forms of martial artistry as well. She was the pride and joy of her family. She grew up getting everything she wanted, as long as she was able to prove herself in the gym. She grew up strong, confident, and egotistical, due to her father always pampering and spoiling her. When he brother continued other pursuits, Bai Qiu continued with her training, gaining the attention of the Shadow Emperor. She fell in love with him at the very first sight. However, the Emperor only sees her as a tool - nothing more. But that's never stopped Bai Qiu from trying to win his heart.
