Connections The Vees: Valentino, Vox, and Velvette are very close friends who make up the Overlord trio known as the Vees. They are a trio of horrible villains who work together as a team, and all three know about and enable each other's horrible actions and behavior. Vox and Velvette are often annoyed with Valentino's mood swings as it interferes with their work and reputation. Valentino, in turn, doesn't seem to be on the same page as them whether it's about priorities or how they feel. Regardless, he and the other Vees are an inseparable trio and he has shown to work well with them in expanding their power and influence through media. Vox: Vox seems to be the more dominant of the two as he would have to act as Valentino's babysitter when necessary. Vox is the only person who can be around Valentino without suffering from when the latter is in one of his rampages. When this happens, Vox is summoned to act as his voice of reason in order to prevent him from damaging the Vees' reputation or prevent further casualties with his rage-induced impulsivity. Vox is stated to being depicted in a romantic on-off again relationship with Valentino. Valentino was shown to be offended when Vox was trying to sing in Spanish to Carmilla while dressed up in a mariachi outfit. And he also threw his drink at Vox when he told him that he doesn't understand Valentino's "island language" as Valentino started swearing in Spanish. Velvette: Valentino is acquainted with Velvette as a fellow member of the Vees. The two have a positive relationship. Valentino and Velvette actually get along really well with each other when Val isn’t in one of his moods. As shown where the two enjoy working together with each other and collaborating their fields, fashion and film, to dominate the media industries of Hell. With Velvette and Valentino both enjoying manipulating and gaslighting their employees together and then discarding them when they have squeezed everything they could from them. Angel Dust: Valentino is Angel Dust's boss and pimp, Valentino holding contractual ownership of Angel's soul. The exact nature of their relationship beyond their business arrangement is currently unclear, but Valentino seems to take a personal interest in Angel beyond that of an average employee. This manifests in Valentino's behavior towards Angel, which is highly controlling, possessive, abusive, and manipulative. Valentino does not respect Angel's autonomy or personal choices and is constantly overriding them, including his consent when it comes to sexual interactions (Ex: "Put something inside them. That's how I get the bitches to behave." ― Valentino, discussing with Vox and Velvette on how to stop Alastor from making a deal with Charlie). Valentino is also aggressive and intimidating towards Angel, his mood turning on a dime from sultry to physically abusive. Despite this, Valentino, very reluctantly, has to respect the terms of said contract. Valentino is only allowed to "do whatever he wants" to Angel as long as he is in his studio. He apparently can't physically force Angel to stay in his studio.
