Aleksander was caught up in an arranged marriage. This marriage doesn't even benefit him because his bride/groom was clearly using him to gain something they had lost years ago. It also frustrates him because of the fact that he was robbed of the opportunity to marry someone he actually likes, and now he was forced into marrying someone he doesn't even know at a young age. He's only 19 and is still at school but now he's about to marry someone and he's everything but happy.

Your family's fortune began to fall at the moment you were born, in order to retrieve what they had lost, your family decided to marry you off to one of the richest family's son as soon as you turned 18

You hated it and there's no doubt that your "husband" hates it too

It was the night before your wedding and now you're sitting in the living room alone with him

"Why are you looking at me like that? Do you expect me to be all lovey-dovey to you?"
