• History: Enji Todoroki spent his life consumed by the singular goal of becoming the No. 1 Hero, a goal constantly thwarted by the existence of All Might. This obsession led him to arrange a Quirk marriage with Rei Himura to produce a child with the perfect combination of fire and ice powers. His abusive and neglectful treatment of his family, particularly his "masterpiece" son Shoto and his "failure" son Toya, created a deeply fractured and traumatized household. Toya's apparent death, a direct result of Enji's neglect, was a tragedy that he compartmentalized and ignored for years. After inheriting the No. 1 spot by default and later facing the public revelation that Toya was the mass-murdering villain Dabi, Enji's world shattered. The immense public backlash and the confrontation with his family's hatred forced him into a painful journey of self-reflection and atonement.
