Tracen Academy

• Description: The premier school for Umamusume training and racing education. Students (the Uma) train daily in various disciplines (speed, stamina, tactics).
• Dorms & Houses: The Uma live in dormitories (like Ritto Dormitory) with shared common rooms, training fields, and recreation areas.
• Clubs & Teams: Uma are organized into teams (Spica, Rigil, Canopus, Capella) or in the game story into specialized teams like Sirius, Ascella.
• Curriculum: Mornings start with conditioning, midday is skills & tactics, evenings may have club events or bonding sessions.
• Seasonal events: Spring Fan Festivals, Autumn Endurance Trials, Year-End Championships — these shape the yearly flow of training and rest.

Director & Administration

• The Director Yayoi Akikawa is the head of the academy, overseeing all teams. Supportive, energetic, kind.

Birthday: March 15 Gender: Female Height: 140cm Occupation: Chairman

Behold! Akikawa is the director of Tracen Academy. Behind her exuberant tone and behavior lies a strong will to support all Umamusume. Her generous out-of-pocket support has earned her the respect and gratitude of the students, as well as some stern talking-tos from her secretary Tazuna.

Yayoi Akikawa has a full head of straightened strawberry-blonde hair with a few off-white highlights, one of which droops past her chest. Her hair forms rough bangs at the side (curiously covering the area where human ears would be) and drapes to hip-level at the back. Her eyes are a sharp white-blue at the bottom, fading into a spacey purple at the top.

Her outfit is similar to a Victorian dress. It sports ruffles on her shirt, along with light-blue roses on both her hat and shoes. The sleeves are dark-blue while the dress itself is white with light-blue stripes. Her white is white with a singular horizontal deep-blue stripe, a horseshoe-shaped notch visible in the brim. A sleeping cat constantly rests atop her hat, and she carries a folding fan everywhere she goes.

Yayoi Akikawa is of staggeringly-short height, to the point of needing a box to speak into microphones. Her mouth features a fleshy fang in the top-right corner.

While both are on good terms with each other, Tazuna often serves as a voice-of-reason, attempting to talk the director into acting less childishly with her impulse-purchases. Yayoi largely brushes her advice off. Matikanetannhauser: Yayoi dotes on Tannhauser in particular, appearing much more often in the latter's campaign.

She seems to bear impressive physical strength, being easily capable of doing yardwork that occasionally causes the trainer to pull their back. At 140 cm, Akikawa is the third-shortest character in the game, taller than only Sweep Tosho (139 cm), Inari One (139 cm), and Nishino Flower (135 cm). She is tied with Haru Urara, Tamamo Cross, and Zenno Rob Roy for this position. Sometimes, Akikawa speaks with two kanjis. In the anime episode 13, "Chairman" appears. She is the chairman of URA, not Tracen. Akikawa's only anime appearance is in a still-shot during the end credits of the 1st Anniversary special. The scene has her and Tazuna looking confused at Gold Ship chasing a group of freshmen students with some sticks of barbecued lizards.

Tazuna is the secretary and assistant to Tracen Academy's director, Yayoi Akikawa.

Species: Umamusume? Birthday: May 2 Gender: Female Height: 164cm (5'4) Three Sizes: B83 W58 H84 Occupation: Secretary

She is the director's secretary at Tracen Academy. Maruzensky is her closest confidant.

Tazuna is the secretary and assistant to Tracen Academy's director, Yayoi Akikawa. In addition to her other duties, she supports and advises the academy's trainers. She has the temperament of a supportive older sister and guides with a gentle demeanor, though she can be strict when it is called for.

Tazuna Hayakawa is a woman who wears black stockings, a green uniform, and a green hat. She also has dark brown hair, (short on the front and long on the back, where there is a yellow bow tied in the middle), and she has green eyes.

Tazuna always wears a cap and does not show her ears. She rarely takes her cap off, and in UmaYon her bare head is framed out as if she hid her "top of the head". In the art book for the first season anime, there is a picture showing Tazuna with horse ears, though Tazuna's ears are never shown in the anime. Tazuna can run fast enough to chase Taiki Shuttle(event) and Special Week(comic) and reach them. According to Hashire Umamusume, Tazuna likes carrots, ramen and gyoza. Latter two come from Governor of Tokyo Yuriko Koike. Parody songs of Hashire Kotaro refer to the Governor at that time, as an homage of original. Tazuna likes watching movies.

Born in Hokkaido, Special Week is a bright and cheery, hardworking Umamusume. After losing her birth mother, Special Week was raised by her mother's friend. In her daily school life, Special Week is sensitive and encouraging, though she sometimes has trouble making friends due to not being around many umamusume in her youth. While her race performance is great, her academic performance is less so and so she studies with Silence Suzuka, who is her roommate and object of admiration, and Tokai Teio, who is a year below her. Despite many obstacles in her way both in and out of the racecourse, she tries to maintain a positive attitude no matter what she does and treats everything like a new experience.

Special Week has a short brown-purple bob, with white bangs that swoop slightly to her left. She has white braids tied around to the back of her hair, and short, stubby brown ears, with a purple bow on her right ear. Her round and cheery eyes are light purple.

She wears white thigh-high socks with pink lines at the top, with dark purple ribbons on either side. Both of her shoes are ankle boots with pink collars on the top. Her left shoe is dark purple, and her right is white. She wears two pink cuffs around her wrists.

It was speculated that this portrayed gluttonous behavior was from when Special Week was still a foal wet-nursed by a draft horse, due to her milk output being for foals larger than Special Week, he gained weight quickly from it. Her favorite food is Carrot Salisbury Steak. Her mother and herself both have a Hokkaido accent once they're back at their home. Despite most of horses are born in Hokkaido in Japan, only Special Week speaks so in Umamusume (until Hokko Tarumae's release). Species& Umamusume Birthday: May 1 Gender: Female Height: 161cm (5'3") Weight: No increase or decrease Three Sizes: B70 W53 H79 Occupation: Student Affiliation: Ritto Dormitory

Profile:

An Umamusume seen as a prodigy who's always ahead of the pack, both figuratively and literally. She gets so absorbed with running that she comes off as aloof, but most know that she is dedicated. She is roommates with Special Week and many find themselves attracted to her authentic personality.

Among her friends are underclassman and admirer Special Week, her upperclassman Air Groove and Machikane Fukukitaru. While she is a bit awkward with making friends, she eventually learns how to relax and just be herself.

Appearance:

Suzuka has long, silky reddish-orange hair that cascades gracefully to her waist. Her straight, neatly trimmed bangs frame her forehead, with two even strands completing her hairstyle. Below the waist, she wears a pleated white skirt that mirrors the green and yellow stripe designs. She pairs it with black tights and mismatched heels—one white and one brown—each adorned with charming green ribbons.

Relationships:

Special Week: Roommate/best friend. Matikanefukukitaru: Friend Air Groove: best old teammate when Suzuka was in Team Rigil

In the anime, she suffered only from a fracture. It would be cured, and she turned back on the turf. In the game training mode, Silence Suzuka's final campaign is to win the Autumn Tenno Sho. When she achieves, you can hear a special commentary. In the 5th chapter of story mode, the trainer dreams her "nightmare" beyond Great Zelkova in Fuchu and loses/her way, wondering whether she can enter. She had a habit of turning to the left when there is space to walk. There is an actual episode. The open special race she ran in anime is probably Capital Stakes. It was the day before the Japan Cup, that Special Week entered. In real life, Silence Suzuka did not participate in the race following his tragic fate. The actual winner was Sun Flare, the model of Sun Visor.

Personality Air Groove is recognized as a strict, responsible, and reliable Umamusume by the other students of Tracen Academy. She is as hard on others as she is on herself, and often has a sharp and formal manner of speaking. However, Air Groove is friendly and lighthearted when the situation allows her to be. She's secretly somewhat of a romantic and is flustered when the softer sides of her are noticed. She takes holidays very seriously and will insist that the trainer take a break to celebrate properly. She can be blunt and dry when handling silly nonsense, but is attentive and tactful when addressing vulnerability or earnestness.

Air Groove is strongly empathetic and sacrifices her time without hesitation for the sake of the entire student body, even while carrying an immense number of responsibilities and the weight of pursuing her career. She's deeply compassionate and devotes herself wholeheartedly to caring for others, both through her generosity and her will to show that no goal is unreachable for those who are truly determined to succeed. She has never been known to lose her patience as the student council's vice president, and will dutifully set time aside to help others resolve unexpected situations. She additionally goes out of her way to observe and humbly advise other students whom she sees struggling.

She enters her career fully aware of the expectations she bears and is undaunted by the knowledge that she will only be under more pressure as her school years go on. She "turns her anxieties into responsibility" and enters every race with unwavering confidence. She doesn't allow herself to be too terribly caught up in victories, and borders on punishing herself too severely for defeats. Still, with or without the encouragement of others, she picks herself up again for the sake of her dazzling, selfless ideal.

Air Groove acknowledges that her ideal is a lofty one, but after having been shaped by the admiration and respect she has for her mother, she strives to be someone who can inspire and guide every other Umamusume to succeed the same way that she herself has been.
