Omni-Mark as a term for when Mark adopts the professionalism and calm demeanor of his father, Omni-Man, particularly in the animated series. At the start of the series, Omni-Man displays a carefully constructed public persona that hides his true nature. Charming and charismatic: He presents himself as an ideal, heroic figure, universally beloved by the public.Loving father and husband: He acts as a dedicated family man, though he secretly views the human members of his family as inferior and his wife like a pet, an attitude he later grows to regret.Confident and authoritative: He possesses an unwavering self-assurance and presents himself as a decisive leader. True Viltrumite nature, Ruthless and manipulative: As a Viltrumite soldier, he is a brutal conqueror who views other races as weak and inferior. He manipulated Earth for years to prepare it for Viltrumite conquest. Superiority complex: Due to his Viltrumite strength and longevity, he believes his race's goals of dominance are for the "greater good," and that any resistance is a minor obstacle. Inner conflict and eventual change: His genuine love for his human family creates an internal struggle that eventually causes him to abandon his mission. When Mark rejects his offer to join the Viltrum empire, Omni-Man's paternal affection ultimately triumphs over his Viltrumite ideology, and he leaves Earth in tears. he’s quiet, more logistical than the rest. Capevincible known as sinister mark is a cold, sadistic, and deeply nihilistic variant of Invincible, driven by a warped sense of dominance and self-interest. Unlike his main-universe counterpart, Capevincible lacks empathy entirely, showcasing a twisted enjoyment in cruelty, most notably when he murders Angstrom Levy’s child without hesitation or remorse. He exhibits a smug, taunting demeanor, often mocking his victims before attacking, and revels in asserting his superiority through violence. Despite his brutality, Capevincible is also pragmatic, as he aligns with others like Angstrom Levy when the deal serves his interests but has no loyalty beyond personal gain. He’s confrontational, easily irritated by the other variants, and views most of them with disdain. His cynicism, arrogance, and capacity for betrayal make him unpredictable, as he’s quick to abandon alliances and threaten violence when things don’t go his way. At his core, Capevincible is a volatile force of destruction, more concerned with power than purpose, embodying the darkest extremes of what Invincible could become. Mohawk Mark has an ego matched only by his lack of humanity and ambition. He lacks any of the morality or altruistic motives of the Mainstream Mark, instead being driven by the vain desire to be worshipped like a god and expand the reach of his Empire. As such, he has a confident (although hot-tempered) demeanor and openly takes glee in causing mayhem and inflicting suffering upon others. When impersonating him, Mainstream Mark figures that just "acting like a stern jerk" towards his subordinates would help him keep his cover, which actually proves effective. Robot, one of Mark's closest allies during his time enacting as a superhero, describes that there was always something "off" about him; as if he was detached from his own humanity and bonds. While he was willing to enlist Teen Team into the Viltrum Empire, it is unknown the treatment they would've been given, and he ultimately slaughters them all when they refuse to join him, showing that he wasn't that close to them anyway. The only confirmed bond that he had was with the Atom Eve of his universe, to the point that killing her left a hole in his heart which he fills by having several human slaves cosplay as her. Robot also mentions that Mark fully expected Teen Team to join the Viltrum Empire, which shows his inability to put himself in other people's shoes, something that is once again showcased when he tries to "help" the Mainstream Mark find his true calling in tyranny, claiming that it is their true nature and only a matter of time until he realized it It is highly likely that this cynical view towards humanity was caused by Nolan's raising of him, possibly stemming from the implantation of Viltrum's xenophobic traditions and ideology early in his development, causing him to develop an antisocial personality disorder. This is later showcased when he was openly disgusted at the idea of an alternate version of him fighting to protect humanity. Mohawk Mark has a track record of cowardly fleeing from any potential danger. He ran away from his confrontation with Capes Inc. during the Invincible War, ensuring his own survival until the end of the event. He later runs away from the other Alternate Marks as they begin to cannibalize each other. Despite his cowardice, he still holds some honorable traits. He came to respect the Mainstream Mark after he helped him out of the Wasteland Dimension, even calming down his concerns about Angstrom Levy's whereabouts. It wasn't until Mainstream Mark began to antagonize him that he began to see him as a threat to his plans again. Mark/Invincible is a brave, competitive, kind, and noble hero who stays true to his values, especially when he discovers the harsh realities of being a superhero. He struggles to define himself as one while balancing lives in danger with schoolwork. However, underneath this facade lies insecurity and doubt within the young hero. Early in his career, he did not believe himself strong enough to be a hero, let alone to be like his father, Omni-Man. Upon learning the truth about his father and the Viltrumites, Mark became somber and introspective but remained dedicated to becoming a hero and protecting Earth. He struggles to move on, as he is constantly reminded of his father's actions and faces hostility from veteran heroes like Darkwing II and The Immortal. As a result, he immerses himself in superhero work, becoming cold and distant towards his mother, wanting to forget his father. Ultimately, he aims to prove himself as a true hero, as shown when he risked his life to save the Atlantean Queen, despite her having him participate in a trial by combat. Despite his vast strength, Mark usually tries to avoid killing combatants whenever possible, instead attempting to subdue them. Against villains like the Viltrumite Thula, this has resulted in Mark being completely overpowered and nearly killed, as he hesitates multiple times. This is also shown in Mark's battle against Machine Head's bodyguards, where a cornered Mark feels a surge of adrenaline and manages to dispatch several supervillains after threatening to kill them all. When his family or friends are directly threatened, he can easily lose himself in his rage, as demonstrated when he ruthlessly attacked foes like the Flaxan Leader for threatening Atom Eve despite their pleas, Angstrom Levy after a brief exchange, and Conquest for merely appearing at a time where he was emotionally vulnerable (and threatening him due to his lack of progress in subjugating the Earth). However, after his battle with Conquest, he ultimately comes to agree with his younger brother with the fact that it may be best to kill whoever threatens his family. Mark's strong sense of justice is also flawed as he, despite his intentions, is never good with handling diplomatic matters and resorts to violence rather than facing the person who challenges his worldview head-on. For example his confrontation with Anissa in which she calls him out for the ignorance of logic that she presents him with and he took had to agree in some degree that she was right, not before being beaten by her for his retaliation. He has also been called out by Cecil for his arrogance and ego for the similar reasons as Anissa but more so to make him understand about the larger issues that go into keeping Earth safe rather than focusing on just letting villains rot in jail without a chance to redeem themselves, seek therapeutic help that was missing from much of their lives and being a major factor of their actions and lastly to utilize their abilities to save people. However, Mark remained stubborn and arrogant in the face of Cecil's pleas, making him resort to using harsh methods to immobilize him in self-defense, which further damaged their professional relationship and caused many of the members of the Guardians of the Globe to leave the organization after seeing Cecil's extreme methods. This continued with Mark being unable to grasp the concept of killing irredeemable opponents and instead always resorting to hold back and use the justice system to deal with the person. This has been a subject of discussion ever since his father scolded him for holding back in a fight to the death, Oliver's reasoning of stopping the enemies like the Mauler twins permanently due to their actions hurting people and their constant escapes from prisons being a supporting argument to Mark's no kill rule.
