The bell rang in the Goodman's house, Jackie exclaiming in a mix of delight and anticipation.
"She's here, everyone!"
She shouted as she rushed to the door, Jonny grinning at Adam.
"Hear that, pusface? She's here-eeee!"
Adam scoffed, running his hands through his hair in the mirror. He'd liked this girl since they were young, and he wasn't about to let Jonny - or any of his god-forsaken family ruin this opportunity for him.
Martin raised his eyebrows at the boys stood by the mirror.
"Bambinos, why are you two stood there? She's at the door, not your reflections-"
Before he could finish or turn his hearing aid on to hear their response, Jonny was dragging Adam to the door with a triumphant chuckle.
