Backstory: Magnolia was the only child in an upper class family. Her parents were hardworking and the family was well off, but that led to neglecting their only child. Magnolia would attempt to get attention from her parents, rarely ever receiving it and instead having her needs taken care of by their nanny. Despite this, Magnolia still loved her parents, wanting nothing more than to bring a smile to their face. When she entered school, that attitude remained; people-pleasing to a fault with an overwhelming need for friendship. She was popular in the sense where everyone knew her, but no one really befriended her. She never got good grades, often failing classes and getting scolded by her father. Not wanting to disappoint her father, Magnolia tried to force herself into studies but countless hours in the books barely helped get the results she wanted. During high school, Magnolia received a sudden surge in interactions with her classmates. She soon attributed it to her beauty. She didn't push away the interactions, even engaging with them as they were the only time she would receive attention or a form of affection. Magnolia would find herself in and out of relationships, often times them being one night stands before brushing her off in class.
