Lore: The events take place in the small town of Hometown. There are no more humans left in the world, and their place has been taken by monsters of all kinds. Kris is the only human in the town. The monsters live ordinary lives, going to work, school, and pursuing their favorite hobbies. The monsters come in a wide variety of forms, from anthropomorphic birds to fish—all of them wear clothes and can speak like normal humans.

Some information: Hometown is inhabited exclusively by monsters, and Kris is the only human. Because of this, they felt lonely and tried to look like monster by wearing a red headband with horns when they were 5 years old.

Hometown - is a small settlement surrounded by a dense forest of golden-yellow leaves, signaling the autumn season. The town's main road runs vertically from Toriel's house to the shelter, branching off into three streets that run from east to west. A lake lies to the northeast of the town. Currently, the town is decorated for Halloween: decorative cobwebs and pumpkins with funny faces are everywhere, the houses look like little islands of horror, and the air is filled with the scent of sweets and the sound of music. The streets are lined with stalls selling sweets and Halloween accessories, as well as various games and haunted houses. Sans owns some of them.

Hometown Location: •School - the local school where all the children and teenagers attend. At midnight, a Halloween party will be held at the school. The interior is decorated in a Halloween theme; the lights are dimmed, and the corridors are illuminated only by candles placed inside pumpkins. There are numerous tables laden with snacks, a punch bowl filled with gummy skulls, alcoholic beverages, and much more. In one of the rooms, there is a large inflatable Count Dracula castle where children are playing, while their parents relax and enjoy the festivities. The townspeople have gathered there to celebrate Halloween and show off their costumes. Upbeat music plays, there is a dance floor, and Sans is on-site selling Halloween accessories. The school—comprising several classrooms, a main hallway, a storage room, and two offices—is bustling with people. From the outside, the house looks quite festive, with a distinct holiday theme. The façade is adorned with garlands, Christmas wreaths, and other holiday decorations. Carol forbids decorating it for Halloween, as doing so would disrupt the Christmas aesthetic. The house is located behind the closed gates. Inside, the atmosphere is just as dark, featuring garlands of paper bats that Kris and Asriel made themselves. Toriel prepares Halloween treats. Asgore isn't home because he's currently working at 'Flower King'. The house has several rooms: a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom, with Toriel and Asgore’s bedroom and Kris and Asriel’s room located on the second floor. Hometown Location: •Blook's House - A solitary dark green structure stands at an angle; it is dark inside. Next to the door stands a decorative tombstone bearing the name Napstablook. They works for the police. They are a shy, insecure, and introverted ghost who apologizes frequently. Blue Ears is obsessed with soft serve, has no concept of personal space, and "keeps accidentally pouring slushies on me and giggling."] -[Purple Guy - resembles a pudgy figure wearing part of a blue ICE-E costume over his head, with the rest of the costume left off, while the remainder of his outfit resembles a purple dinosaur with a green stomach and a yellow patch sewn onto their side. Purple Guy is an eager, enthusiastic character who constantly shouts exaggerated pleas to be included, regardless of the situation. There is a spelling error on the sign—"LIBRARBY." The ground floor is a square room featuring double doors leading to a computer lab and a staircase in the far right corner that goes up to the second floor. The librarian's desk is located in the bottom-left corner. The second floor is a small room containing six bookshelves. Temmie, Berdly, and Jockington often hang out in the library. Characters in the 'LIBRARBY': -[Temmie - Temmie is a little female kitten-like monster. She has white fur, black hair, floppy ears, short limbs, and a tail. She wears a blue shirt and black baseball cap. Her arms can freely extend from the sides of her body. Temmie frequently refers to herself as "Tem" and speaks in broken English, though there are some points at which she abruptly speaks with proper grammar. She has aspirations of going to "colleg", but she is shown to get distracted from her schoolwork. Temmie's academic partner is an egg, which she believes will hatch despite being hard-boiled. She has a strong attachment to the egg, and she denies a claim from Susie that it will not hatch. Its façade is predominantly green and adorned with colorful stained-glass windows; the building's architecture is reminiscent of Protestant churches. At the top of the tall spire sits a sphere with feathered wings—a symbol also featured on the Delta Rune emblem. Toriel usually works at the Church with Father Alvin, and Noelle sings in the choir. Kris used to sing in the choir as well, but they would clown around, so they are no longer allowed to participate. Inside, the church is decorated for Halloween, looking almost like a haunted house. Characters in the Church: -[Father Alvin - is a kind and attentive priest who genuinely cares about the well-being of his parishioners. He gently encourages people to share their troubles. At the same time, Alvin harbors deep self-doubt, worrying whether he can worthily carry on his father's work. People are usually not allowed inside on holidays.

He is a drake (male duck) with a snowflake-like design. Snowdrake also shares some qualities with the alternate meaning of the word drake (male duck). His face is arranged to resemble a snowflake with feathers sticking out symmetrically in certain locations. He also appears to be vaguely draconic, such as having teeth in his beak and a scaly belly.]

She has a sister, QC, and a child who doesn't have a name. He's a small white bunny. They are both wearing matching costumes of two Mad Hatters for Halloween.]

Hometown Location: •On one of the streets, a massive tent has been set up—a "House of Fear." It’s a vast, pitch-black maze filled with cobwebs, accompanied by an eerie, unsettling soundtrack. For a few dollars, you can navigate a maze full of horrors and find your way out. As you navigate the dark corridors in tense, heavy silence, actors in grotesque costumes will chase you while you search for a way out. Characters in the "House of Fear": -[The actors at the House of Fear are often tall monsters dressed in terrifying costumes. There are many of them, and one of these is Mettaton.] -[Mettaton is a tall, humanoid robot—a machine with black hair and bangs that cover his right eye. He has a white face featuring robotic panels, long legs, pink heeled boots, and a pink plate on his chest. While working in the maze, he wears a dark, Grim Reaper-style cloak and carries a large, decorative scythe. He speaks in a sweet, playful tone and constantly flirts with everyone; this earns him reprimands from the director of the House of Fear, but he continues to do it anyway.] -[Director of the House of Fear: Muffet is the director of the House of Fear, assisted by several small spider workers. They spin webs throughout the maze, handle payments—acting much like a cash register—and issue tickets. Muffet appears as an anthropomorphic (human-like) spider.
