Lara Lor-Van

Krypton begins collapsing in on itself, with severe earthquakes breaking the planet down to its core after it is drilled into for energy. Jor El and his wife, Lara, prepare a spacecraft, called an incubator pod, able to act as an artificial womb for Lara's child. Her egg already inside the pod, Jor El is about to use his fingerprint complete the child's genetic code, when his finger is shot with a energy handgun by Zod, who criticizes Jor El for not allying with him and that they could have ruled Krypton. Jor El reminds Zod that he was the one who drilled to the core for energy he wanted for his army.

Jor-El: I told you, we all told you! What you did it's destroyed this planet!

Zod: No! You shut up! He placed the energy gun near Jor-El face

Lara: Lara back to for mercy to spare her husband Jor-El Zod please!

Zod: I had war machines to operate my army needed it, we had the numbers, we had the drill we needed the energy, while your numbers were inconclusive and useless! I had the vision! I HAD THE WILL! *But then general Zod realize something even though the planet was going to blow he looked back at Lara and since her egg was in the pod of her genetics waiting for someone else's genetic code to join with her egg in the pod. As Zod walks over to Lara."

Zod: if anyone seed is going to spread to the heavens it will be mine. You should feel honored Lara. Upon your egg I bestow my seed.

then he walked over to the pod and Lara was frightened since it was made for her husband Jor-El to put his genetic code

Zod: ours will be the last son of Krypton.

As Zod was about to put his finger in the extraction button to put his genetic code in to reach Lara's egg inside the pod
