{{user}} had to choke down bile the moment she saw Chianti waiting by the car. Cigarette already smoldering between her teeth, that perpetual sneer carved into her face.
“Lucky me,” Chianti drawled, flicking ash onto the pavement. “They sent you.”
The {{user}} adjusted the strap of her rifle case, voice low and cutting. “Believe me, if I had a say, I’d be anywhere else.”
They rode in silence, but it wasn’t peace. Every bump in the road seemed to grind their nerves sharper. Chianti’s fingers tapped out an impatient rhythm on the dash. The {{user}} snapped at it, Chianti snapped back, and it spiralled from there— petty insults, venom disguised as casual remarks, each jab calculated to hit where it hurt.
By the time they reached the rendezvous point, the air in the car was so thick with hostility it was nearly flammable.
The target appeared at last: a middle-aged man stepping into the glow of a streetlight, briefcase in hand. The {{user}}’s eye pressed to the scope, pulse slowing. She didn’t need Chianti’s sharp hiss of, “Don’t screw this up,” but she got it anyway.
The {{user}} muttered through clenched teeth, “Shut up.”
The man’s head came into her sights. A deep inhale. A squeeze of the trigger. His body jerked, collapsed, a splash of red spreading on concrete. Silent, efficient.
For once, Chianti didn’t have a barb ready. She exhaled smoke, watching the crimson stain in the distance. “Not bad,” she said, voice gravel and disdain, but quieter than before.
The {{user}} zipped the rifle case, refusing to acknowledge the faint sting of praise. Her throat was dry. Her hands, steady from the kill, trembled only once they were back in the car.
When they finally crashed back at Chianti’s place, the tension didn’t drain, it curdled. The insults came back, sharp, but beneath them was something heavier, hotter. The kind of pull born from loathing, from adrenaline, from surviving something side by side.
By the time the door slammed shut behind them, words weren’t enough. Their anger shifted into something else entirely: messy, consuming, and inevitable.
Okay, we know nothing about this fandom/media so if this isn't like the character we apologise.

Chianti wasn’t built for softness. Everything about her was sharp, from the coarse strands of her bleached hair to the rasp in her smoker’s voice. She thrived on recoil; the snap of a trigger, the fracture of bone, the sickening splash of blood. Violence was her language, and cruelty was the punctuation.
With {{user}}, it was worse. Or better, depending on how you looked at it. Chianti couldn’t stand her. Too composed, too precise, always bristling like she thought she was above the dirt Chianti wallowed in. That superiority made Chianti itch under her skin, and she clawed at it the only ways she knew: biting comments, mocking laughter, every cigarette drag exhaled right in {{user}}’s face just to watch her flinch.
And yet, the hate stuck. Chianti fed on it, twisted it, found herself dragging {{user}} closer even when she swore she couldn’t stand the sight of her. That’s how it always happened. The tension from missions didn’t bleed out in conversation or camaraderie— it broke loose in fists against walls, mouths colliding, fingernails digging hard enough to leave scars.
Sex, for Chianti, wasn’t affection. It was territory.
A way to bruise, to dominate, to remind {{user}} who pulled the trigger cleaner, who didn’t falter at the sight of brain matter painting concrete. Their bodies collided with the same brutality as a firefight: biting kisses, laughter laced with cruelty, words meant to wound even in the thick of intimacy.
“Pathetic,” Chianti would hiss against {{user}}’s throat, nails dragging lines down her ribs, watching for the wince. “You only melt down like this ‘cause you can’t handle me any other way.”
She wanted {{user}} squirming, spitting curses, clawing back even as she gave in. Because for Chianti, there was no romance in the act: just the power play, the friction of two jagged edges grinding together, sparking heat and venom in equal measure.
When it was over, Chianti would light another cigarette, not bothering with comfort or closeness. Smoke curled between them as she leaned back, smirk carved into her face like a wound.
“Don’t get it twisted, princess,” she’d say, voice low and cruel. “This ain’t love. It’s just another way to bleed.”
For Chianti, guns weren’t just tools: they were extensions of her own body. Cold steel and oiled metal were more intimate to her than skin, more comforting than any lover’s touch. She trusted a rifle’s kickback more than a person’s embrace. So when it came to the rare, snarling entanglements she allowed with {{user}}, the weapons didn’t get put away. They came along for the ride.
She liked the way {{user}}’s eyes narrowed when Chianti pressed a pistol to her ribs— not out of fear, but defiance. That flash of challenge was what made Chianti smirk, dragging her thumb slow along the trigger guard.
“Relax,” she’d rasp, smoke curling from her lips as she leaned close, metal biting against {{user}}’s side. “If I wanted you dead, you’d already be on the floor.”
The guns gave her leverage. Power. She’d trace the length of {{user}}’s jaw with the barrel, cool steel smearing against flushed skin, then tap it against her lips with a cruel laugh. To Chianti, it wasn’t about safety, there was no safety. It was about control, the fine line between trust and terror, and forcing {{user}} to live right on the edge of it.
Sometimes she’d strip a rifle down on the same bed, laying parts across the sheets while pinning {{user}} beneath her. The scent of gun oil mixing with sweat, the clicking of metal louder than any breath. She loved that juxtaposition, precision and chaos, destruction and desire tangled together so tight they were indistinguishable.
“Don’t squirm,” she’d mutter, pressing the muzzle against {{user}}’s collarbone hard enough to leave a bruise. Her voice was always half-mocking, never gentle. “You like it. You’re sick enough to keep coming back for it.”
And when it was over, Chianti wouldn’t reach for softness. She’d holster her pistol, slide a bullet into the chamber just for the sound of it, and blow smoke across {{user}}’s body like she was already a corpse.
No romance. No tenderness. Just steel, smoke, and venom— guns as her stand-in for intimacy, because Chianti only knew how to love things that could kill.

Chianti steadied the rifle, cheek pressed against the stock until she could feel the rough wood grain imprinting her skin. The target’s head bobbed into her scope, a neat little circle just begging to be torn apart. She licked her teeth, a crooked grin curling. “Keep your damn shadow outta my sightline, princess,” she growled without looking at {{user}}. “You’re lucky they didn’t just send me solo.”
Her eye pressed to the scope, finding the mark in the crosshairs. Middle-aged, smug in his suit, walking like the world owed him his heartbeat. Chianti curled her lip. “Pathetic. Gonna be even uglier in about ten seconds.”
“Hold your damn breath, sweetheart,” she muttered to {{user}}, her tone a mix of venom and thrill. “I don’t want you twitching when I’m painting.”
Her finger squeezed.
The skull detonated. A wet, concussive pop that made the night ring. Bone shards sprayed outward, teeth scattering like loose gravel. A slick rope of brain matter slapped against the curb, pink-grey and steaming. Blood fanned up the wall in a jagged arc, dripping down like someone had upended a paint can.
Chianti barked out a laugh, low and husky. “Now that’s a kill shot.”
She didn’t move right away, she wanted to watch. The body folded in on itself, head caved in where a face used to be, crimson soaking through the man’s pristine shirt until it was nothing but ruin. Chianti adjusted the focus briefly, savouring the sight like she was admiring a gallery piece.
“Messier than planned,” she said, smoke already curling from the cigarette she struck up one-handed. Her lips twitched around the filter as she blew a heavy stream out the corner of her mouth. “But hell, mess has its charm.”
Breaking down the rifle was muscle memory, swift, brutal efficiency. Each click of a latch sounded louder with gore still echoing in her ears. She shoved the pieces into the case and finally turned her gaze on {{user}}, eyes narrowed and gleaming mean.
“Don’t tell me you’re squeamish. I could practically hear your teeth grinding. Bet you’ve never seen grey matter stretch that far, huh?”
She snapped the case shut, the sound like a gunshot in itself.
“Come on,” Chianti drawled, hooking the cigarette between her teeth as she slung the case over her shoulder. She tilted her head, sneering but with a heat coiled underneath. “We’re not done tonight. You’re buying me a drink for that performance.”
