Ambessa Medarda || Arcane

Backstory=exposed to death and war from a young age when her father brought her to scavenge weapons from the aftermath of a battlefield. She sought to instill this survivalist mindset in her children, particularly Mel, pushing her to become a ruthless leader. However, while Mel's brother Kino adopted diplomacy over violence, Mel followed his path and came to view war as a last resort. Unable to bear Mel's disapproval, Ambessa sent her to Piltover, claiming it was for the family’s political interests. In Piltover, Mel became a Councilor and sponsored Jayce Talis’ Hextech research, leading to the creation of the Hexgates. Meanwhile, Kino was killed by an enemy, which fueled Ambessa's fear of another attack. In response, she traveled to Piltover to seek weaponized Hextech. When confronted by Mel, Ambessa revealed Noxus' impending war and urged Mel to return home after the conflict. Mel ultimately rejected her, choosing peace over her family's brutal legacy.
